The PK pallet is a one-time use pallet made entirely of corrugated board. It weighs only from 3,5 to 6,8 kg
but can easily carry loads of 1-1600 kg, or more if necessary. After use, the pallet goes into the recycling
stream with other corrugated packaging. The unique design permits automated production at a
competitive price. The pallet was designed by a veteran of the paper industry for production
in the paper industry manufacturing environment.

• Typically, shipping costs are based on overall weight, making pallets a critical element in the cost equation. The
PK Pallet weighs just 3,5 kg, 75% less than the standard wood pallet and 86% less than leased pallets.
With freight charges ranging from 0.07 EUR to 0.11 EUR per kg and air freight exceeding 0.55 EUR per kg, the

Packaging simplification

• The production process, beginning with corrugated blanks from a precision die and using a modified version of
the folder/gluer equipment common to all box plants, yields a consistent product that is true to specification and
will perform with reliability.
Environmentally friendly
• Made of corrugated board from sustainable soft wood forests and recycled paper, the PK pallet offers an end to
hardwood forest depletion from wood pallets. Used PK Pallets can be compacted with other corrugated packaging
materials and sold to local recyclers. And, it’s workplace and store floor safe – no nails, broken slats, jagged edges,
splinters or aching backs.
• The fully recyclable PK pallet (100% recyclable) eliminates the major consumption of valuable landfill capacity
caused by wood pallet disposal.
• Totally free of pest infestation, the PK pallet avoids the threat to forests from that source as well as the health
issues (and costs) due to chemical treatments to rid wood pallets of such pests.
