4th of July Celebrating program
 150 students participated in activities aimed to encourage for knowledge about democracy among the new
generation Thais and to create better understanding between the U.S. and Thailand both in terms of politics and
culture.
 The event co-partners by American Corner, CMU, American Studies Club CMU, U.S. Consulate General Chiang
Mai and Thailand State Alumni Community.
Sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, Mc Donald, Major Cineplex, Faculty of Political Science and Public
Administration, CMU.
 The event included Opening Remarks by USCG, assay contest, poster exhibition, Meet & Greet two alumni to
share their experience on how to achieve scholarship to study in USA, trivia games & win prizes and end with
Burger Lunch Party.

T he “Bound for Glory” exhibition of iconic black & white, and little known color images, taken between 1932
and 1943 by photographers of the Farm Security Administration (FSA) The exhibition documents the Great
Depression and portrays America’s economic renewal and exceptional innovation between 1935 and 1944.
