This schedule is a sample only and may change. * = Must sign up, space is limited. YMCA Camp Erdman 2014 Family Camp Sample Schedule • Alpine Tower – Come challenge yourself by climbing our 40-foot Alpine Tower – whether you make it half way or all the way to the top you will have a great time and see some amazing views. • Arts & Crafts – Our staff will be working on fun projects for the whole family in our arts studio. Come join her for some Halloween themed crafts. • Campfire – Join our staff for hilarious skits and songs, topped off by s’mores! • Climbing Wall – A fun and challenging activity for the whole family. Come test your skills on our rock wall. Participants must wear closed toed shoes for this activity. • Evening Programs – Our evening programs may include stargazing, crab hunting, and more! • Giant Swing – Be hoisted up over 30 feet in the air by your friends – then let go and swing! • Ka’ena Point Hike – Our longest hike, out to Ka’ena point and back. At the end of the trail is a nature reserve to explore. We will be taking sack lunches as this is a 4 mile hike. Please come prepared with water bottles, sunscreen and good shoes. (3 hours) • Kayaking – Join us for a ride down the river in nearby Haleiwa. • Kealia Trail Hike – Hike up to the top of the mountain with us! The hike is approximately 2.5 miles. Please come prepared with water bottles, sunscreen and good shoes. (3 hours) • Keiki Club – Drop off your campers for a safe & fun time with our camp counselors, while you get to relax. Campers must be at least 3 years old. • Mauka Hike – Our own trail right behind camp goes back to a dry waterfall. This is great for new or younger hikers. Please come prepared with water bottles, sunscreen and good shoes. (1 hour) • Odyssey – Teams work together to make it across our Odyssey challenge course. This is a great bonding activity. Participants must be 12 or older. • Yoga / Fitness – A YMCA instructor will be running yoga so you can take some time to stretch out and get in shape! Please wear closed toe shoes at all activities & carry plenty of water! All activities are subject to change. 2014 Family Camp Weekend Special Activities • Mother’s Day (May 9-11) – Join us for the Know Your Mom Game Show! • Fourth of July (July 4-6) – Can you win the Family Olympics? • Halloween (Oct 31 – Nov 2) – Come for our popular Haunted House, Costume Contest, & Trick or Treating!
