Measurement Task
The Moiré-Technology is now available for qualified
and precise sample measurements in the quality laboratory of float lines and R&D centers. The LABSCANSample is designed to support this kind of work and
allows quick and easy sample measurement. The
glass samples can be measured in transmission and
in reflection as well.
The data evaluation and storage is simple and very convenient for the operator. Results are directly comparable to measurement results from the in-line FLOATSCAN
systems. So that it is now possible to work offline with
the same precision and accuracy provided by the online
systems.

System Architecture
Standard fluorescent tubes and solid-state CCDsensors are used to build a highly reliable, sensitive
and accurate inspection system.
The LABSCAN-Sample is quick and easy to install. The
commissioning of the system concludes with a comprehensive training. This ensures that the operator is able to
maintain the system and benefits from the convenient and
simple handling and ope­ration of an automatic measurement system com­pared to the conventional methods.
