digital control unit and the computer.

PC-drive-commands for locs and signal/ turnout shifting will come to the tracks and to the
decoders via the interface and the control unit.
However the interface will transfer the feedback information to the computer. On this way the
control software receives the status-information of tracks.
For this process is it important to transfer the feedback information as fast as possible to assure
a short reaction time.
Because of the slow data transfer from the Märklin interface to the PC and the circumstantial
and time consuming requests of the PC it results to a partly extended reaction period.
This can result to a remarkable reaction delay to events for locs (e.g. reaction to switching of
reed contacts).

Accelerated feedback with the High-Speed-Interface HSI-88.
If you want to eliminate this disadvantage you can extend your existing Märklin digital system
with our High-Speed-Interface HSI-88.
The HSI-88 transfers the feedback information with 9600 Baud and not as the Märklin interface
with 2400 Baud. This is an acceleration by 4-times!
The High-Speed-Interface can reed not only one but 3 feedback lines.
This gives you the advantage of a faster s88-bus processing and the possibility to build three
bus-lines on the system.

High Speed Interface HSI-88 with three feedback modules at the left and right and two feedback modules at the
center feedback line.
The HSI-88 works event controlled: one or more changes at the feedback inputs will be reported
to the PC immediately. This saves considerable computing time and will supply reduced
reaction time as the PC has not to request cyclical (and therefore delayed) for changes but get all
actual changes reported from the interface.
