SAFETY VESTS
Due to an increased awareness from WorkSafe Victoria it is now mandatory for all exhibitors
during move – in and out periods, to wear approved safety vests at all times. Exhibitors and
contractors will not be allowed entry to the exhibition floor unless safety vests are worn. Safety
vests will be supplied by the Snow Travel Expo organisers and handed out on the Saturday
afternoon and Sunday morning of Expo, all vests need to be returned to the organisers once you
have finished moving out at end of Expo.
Closed toe shows must be worn at all times.

CAFÉ There will be a mobile café open for your convenience within the Expo providing a gourmet
sausage station and baguette option for lunch. There is cold and hot beverages as well as a
cappuccino machine for Exhibitors and the public, café hours are 9am – 4pm.
DELIVERIES
MELBOURNE EXHIBITION CENTRE LOADING DOCK
Entrance off Normanby Road Southbank, Melbourne.
All deliveries are to be sent to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on Saturday May 17 between 7am and
7pm and on Sunday May 18 from 6am – 9am to Door 7.
All deliveries MUST be addressed with delivery label see www.snowtravelexpo.com.au under exhibitors
to download delivery label.
No goods will be accepted on behalf of exhibitors by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
No deliveries will be permitted prior to Saturday May 17.
There is no storage for exhibitors at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
All vehicles entering the Melbourne Exhibition Centre loading dock will be issued with a 30 minute unloading
permit. Please advise loading dock staff if a longer time is required.Trolleys will not be allowed on the
concourse or in the carpark, all goods must enter through Loading Dock, hand held items only to be carried
through the concourse doors.

and copy of the Centre’s Goods Access Map indicating where deliveries to the Centre should be made.

FREIGHT FORWARDING/TRANSPORT/LOGISTICS
Agility Fairs & Events (a specialized exhibition & event logistics provider) has been appointed as the official
logistics contractor to the 2014 SNOW TRAVEL EXPO’S.
As the show bumps in on a weekend and deliveries will not be accepted at the venue prior to Saturday 17
May, we highly recommend using Agility as their service is door-to-stand and they work weekends and
outside normal business hours.
Agility can arrange all local, interstate and international transport services to the venue. Prior to the
exhibition, Agility will contact all exhibitors to discuss specific transportation and other logistics
requirements.
As the venue has very strict guidelines regarding delivery of freight, we highly recommend using Agility as
their service is door-to-stand and they work weekends and outside normal business hours.
Please note, that Agility is not onsite at this show. Therefore, exhibitors are responsible for making their own
arrangements for the movement of their goods from the loading dock to the exhibition stand.Prior to the
exhibition, Agility will contact all exhibitors to discuss individual transportation and other logistics
requirements. In the meantime, to request a quote please complete and return the “Transport Request
Form” provided at www.snowtravelexpo.com.au under EXHIBITORS. For further information please contact:

EXHIBITOR MOVE-OUT
Sunday May 18, 4.15pm – 5.30pm (Exhibit Systems dismantle 6pm – 9pm).
No exhibitor will be permitted to remove products prior to this time.
During Move-out, exhibitors are urged not to leave their stand unattended during this period until all their
valuable exhibits have been moved or made secure. Pandanus Promotions and the Melbourne Exhibition
Centre will not accept any responsibility for missing goods.

EXHIBITORS REQUIRING APPROVAL
Exhibitor displays that include animals, helium balloons or food tastings/sampling/selling as part of their
exhibit are required to submit a proposal in writing to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre briefly
outlining the purpose of the display and how it will be used. Please note written approval must be received
before proceeding with any of the above. Please contact MCEC Exhibitor Services on 03 9235 8110 or

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Corner of Montague Street and Munro Street Car park (enter from Munro St), $5 for 12 hours.
All exhibitors are encouraged to park in the Corner of Montague Street and Munro car park, entry from Munro
St. Pay and Display ticketing machines are located at and throughout the Corner of Montague Street and
Munro Street carpark. Correct change is required for these units. A customer service desk and 24-hour
security office are located immediately inside the front entrance to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Telephones, toilets, automatic teller machines and GO-Ticket machines are all available on the
concourse level.

ACCOMODATION
The MCEC is located on the banks of the Yarra on South Wharf.MCEC is not only conveniently located to a huge
range of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. It’s also attached to the Hilton South Wharf for your
accommodation.
