TODAY I BECAME
AN INQUIRER
In beautiful buildings overlooking the sea in Sidmouth, St John’s
International School is an independent, co-educational, day and boarding
school, providing nursery, junior, senior and sixth form for 2-18 year olds.
As an IES school, we offer an international approach to learning, underpinned
by traditional, English independent school values.
Through our IGCSE programmes and as the first IB World School authorised to
teach the Primary Years Programme in the South West, we take a vibrant
and holistic approach both in and outside the classroom.
Our 2014 IGCSE results reflect this thirst for knowledge with the class of
2014 producing the school’s best results to date.
For more information about our forthcoming Senior and Sixth Form
open events visit www.stjohnsdevon.co.uk or call Mrs Jo Mason

Welcome
Welcome to the third Sidmouth Science Festival
brought to you by a team of volunteers from the
Vision Group for Sidmouth (VGS), part of the
Transition Town Movement.
We are very pleased to announce that the
University of Exeter has joined us this year
as a key partner.
Science Festival Team
The event programme goes from strength to

With so many technical issues being faced by
society we believe that our communities will
make better decisions if they have a deeper
understanding of the underlying science and
technology. We aim to make people aware of
how the STEM subjects (Science, Technology
Engineering and Maths) play a part in what
we take for granted in everyday life.
We are delighted to be working more closely
with the Sidmouth Science Festival this year.
