A special thank you to Clinton County Farmers and Sportsmen Association for allowing us to utilize these beautiful grounds. Please help maintain the natural beauty of these grounds by picking up your litter. We would also like to thank our judges Bob Bush, Tom Manion, Patty McCabe, Leslie Philips, Joe Smithberger, and Ed Zawodny, our committee, and all volunteers for helping to make this event possible. We ask that all handlers be willing to pitch in and help where needed thereby making it possible for everyone to enjoy the day. The building located at 301 Batson Rd will serve as the headquarters for the event. Any preordered meals will be served inside the building. Meals may be ordered on the club website: http://nsdtrc-usa.org/product-category/meals/ There is ample seating inside the building as well as restrooms. Please cooperate with the members of the hunt test committee. They have been instructed to adhere to the running order as closely as possible; if you have a conflict, are running multiple dogs in different stakes, or if you arrive late, please speak to a committee member immediately. Day of Test Entries Will Not Be Accepted. It is important that you watch the test dog and hear the Judges' scenario and instructions so that you will understand the test and what is expected of you and your dog. You should also be familiar with the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club (USA) Rules and Regulations for the BRT/WC/WCI/WCX. Please note the WCI & WCX will be run under the same judges. The WCX dogs land series will run first, followed by the WCI land. The same will be true for the water series. Dogs may not be entered in more than one stake and bitches in season are not allowed to run in the test. (see refunds) Please remember that appropriate hunting attire (camouflage or dark clothing) is required for all handlers and the gallery. Cell phones, beepers and pagers should be turned off in the gallery and near the line. They have the potential to significantly disturb the working dogs, handlers and judges. In the spirit of good sportsmanship leave your electronic devices in your vehicle. Please be courteous to the marshals, judges and workers who graciously give their time and expertise to support this event. If you have questions feel free to ask the marshals. Have fun and Good Luck! ***ADDITIONAL NOTES*** Struan Award: Presented by Eric and Joan Johnson in honor of NSDTRC Ch/HR/WRCh Lennoxlove’s Run With Wolves JH WCX Canadian WCI, this perpetual trophy will be awarded to the NSDTRC (USA) member-handler of the oldest dog of either sex to earn a Working Certificate Intermediate at the 2014 NSDTRC-USA Specialty.
