As this years Dinner Chairman, I am honored to invite you to the 45th Annual
St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer Dinner. This year we will return to
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday, November 13th, where our feature
guest, Roy Firestone, will entertain us like never before.
The St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer has raised and donated more than
$3 million to St. Louis area causes dedicated to cancer research, prevention
and care. The majority of those dollars are raised at our Annual Dinner, an
event with a serious mission, but filled with plenty of laughter, entertainment,
prizes and surprises!
Our evening will begin at 5:45pm with our always spectacular open cocktail
bar, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction. At 6:45pm, we will proceed to the ballroom for our gourmet dinner, live auction and feature entertainment.
The evening will be emceed by the funniest man on St. Louis radio, Mr. Guy
Phillips. You can also expect to see many current and former sports celebrities,
broadcast personalities and dignitaries in attendance.
Roy Firestone is one of the nation’s most sought after live corporate performers,
keynote speakers and lecturers. He recently shared the stage with performers
Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, David Foster, Forest Whitaker and Jon Bon Jovi.
As an actor, Roy was featured in the Academy Award winning film, Jerry
Maguire, where he played himself in an unforgettable scene with Academy
Award winner Cuba Gooding, Jr. No stranger to talk show’s, Roy’s appearances include Late Night with David Letterman, Later with Bob Costas and The
Tonight Show.
