Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Cochin – Munnar (130Kms/Approx 4Hrs Drive)
Welcome to Cochin, the most charming city of Kerala. Drive through the picturesque countryside to Munnar. Enroute
visit KALADY - Adya Shankarachrya Birth place. Muunar is having the mountain scenery, once known as the High
Range of Travancore; the hill station of Munnar is the commercial Centre of some of the world's highest tea - growing
estates. With its craggy peaks, manicures tea estates and crisp mountain air, Munnar is an ideal retreat. The rest of the day
is at leisure to explore this quaint hill station.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Proceed for sightseeing of Munnar where you will enjoy visiting sections of Munnar, which includes Mattupetty
Lake which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam there. Enjoy a
panoramic view of the dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations, visit Echo Point. The evening is at leisure.
You can spend time within the hotel and simply enjoying a delicious dinner and maybe in the evening going out for a stroll
to the local market.

Day 3: Thekkady (105 Kms / Approx 4 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) the land of spice plantations. On arrival, check in hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You
can walk through the spice market in the Kumily Village.

Day 4: Thekkady - Alleppey (110 Kms/4 Hrs Drive)
You can enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar. To observe wildlife in the Periyar Sanctuary. Later, drive to the idyllic
backwaters of Alleppey. Then check-in hotel.

Day 5: Alleppey - Trivandrum (211 Kms/4Hrs Drive)
This morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum. Arrival at Trivandrum visit India's richest Sri Padmanabha Swamy
Temple. It is in veritably the heart of Thiruvananthapuram, an oasis of peace. Regarded as one of the 108 Great Vishnu
temples, it is supposed to be of pre-Christian era origin and was renovated to the present state of grandeur by the Maharaja
Sri Anizham Tirunal Marthanda Varma in the eighteenth century. Since his time, the kingdom of Travancore was ceded to
Lord Padmanabha and the rulers became "Padmanabhadaasas", servants of Lord Padmanabha and ruled the kingdom in
lord's name.Evening Kovalam Beach.

Day 6: Trivandrum - Kanyakumari
After breakfasts proceed to Kanyakumari on the way Suchindram Temple .Visit the Kanyakumari Temple dedicated to
Goddess Parvati. (Private) Located on the shore, it is a Shakti Peetha dedicated to a manifestation of Parvati, the virgin
goddess who did penance to obtain Lord Shiva's hand in marriage. The temple and the adjoining ghat, situated overlooking
the shore, attract tourists from all over the world. The sparkling diamond nose-ring of the deity is said to be visible even
from the sea. Later visit the Gandhi Memorial - built to honour Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. You can opt a
ferry ride to Vivekananda Rock to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial - where the great philosopher went into
meditation that transformed him into one of the most charismatic spiritual leader of this country. Rest of the day is at
leisure.

Day 7: Kanyakumari - Rameshwaram (256Kms/5 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram, Ramanathaswamy Jyotirlinga Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to
God Shiva located.According to Ramayana, Rama, the seventh incarnation of God Vishnu, is believed to have prayed to
Shiva here to absolve any sins that he might have committed during his war against the demon king Ravana in Srilanka.

Day 9: Depart RameshwaramTo Madhurai (250Kms/4 Hrs Drive)
Early morning proceed to visit MeenakshiSundareswara Temple- The enormous temple
complex is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshwara and his consort Parvati or Meenakshi. The original temple
was built by KulasekaraPandya, but the entire credit for making the temple as splendid as it is today goes to the Nayaks.
The Nayaks ruled Madurai from the 16th to the 18th century and left a majestic imprint of their rule in the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple. The temple complex is within a high-walled enclosure, at the core of which are the two sanctums
for Meenakshi and Sundareshwara, surrounded by a number of smaller shrines and grand pillared halls. Especially
impressi are the 12 gopuras. Their soaring towers rise from solid granite bases, and are covered with stucco figures of
dieties, mythical animals and monsters painted in vivid colours.
Day 10: Drop to Madurai Airport/ Railway Stn.

Terms & Conditions of booking a tour:
 Seat in the tour can be booked by paying an advance amount of 50% of the tour package & full air ticket
cost (if client is buying air ticket from Kaustubh Tours). This amount will be non-refundable, in case the
person desires to cancel the tour.
 The remaining tour cost will have to be paid at the earliest but not later than 1 month before the tour date.
If guest fails to pay the balance tour cost on time the company reserves the right to cancel the tour booking
and advance will be forfeited.
 In Air package tickets will be issued one week prior to the date of travel. Air tickets are non-refundable and
therefore, on cancellation of tour after making payment of full tour cost, only 25% amount of the total tour
cost will be refunded, provided that the request for cancellation of the tour has been received by us 21
days prior to the travel date. No refund will be given thereafter.
 Change in names may be permitted before 15 days of the date of tour or issue of tickets, whichever is
earlier, free of any cost. Thereafter, change in name may be done within 7 days from the date of travel at
cost of Rs. 1,500/- per sector, if the airline company permits.
 Kaustubh Tours reserves the right to change itinerary of tours and hotels due to circumstances beyond its
control.
 Kaustubh Tours is not responsible for any alternate arrangement due flight delay or rescheduling
interconnections.
 Any expenses, damages, loss, etc. which may be caused due to weather conditions, strike, curfew, natural
calamities, political unrest and unavoidable circumstances beyond our control, will have to be borne by
guests.
 During peak seasons due to heavy rush or unavoidable circumstances, some sightseeing may not be
covered.
 Kaustubh Tours is not responsible for any death, injury, sickness, accidental loss, delay increased expenses,
damage or theft.
 Tour Manager will be provided for minimum group of 12 member .
 Seat in coach are allotted on daily rotation basis. Every member is expected to follow the same.
