Position Availability: Technical Manager –Implementation
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Implementation Manager is responsible for providing technical product support to
key customer accounts. The primary scope of the position will be to provide technical support,
install and commission systems, train users, test and deploy new software releases and support the
Program Manager in executing the overall project plan.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven success working directly with
customers, troubleshooting IT related issues and working with network and server systems. The
ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the software development process and complex
application systems. Candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills
in order to maintain positive client relations. This Candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to
work in a fast paced dynamic environment. They must possess initiative to produce improvement
initiatives both internally and with clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for planning, organizing, and management of project tasks and resources to
bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives.

Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for
client engagement from definition phase through implementation
-
Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to
our clients and communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate
alternative technical solutions
-
Responsible to create and execute development plans and revises as appropriate to meet
changing needs and requirements
-
Responsible for Managing several phases of project both US and UK that involve user
acceptance testing that including overseeing the implementation of the cloud platform

Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as
liaison between development staff and project manager.

Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks
throughout the project. Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and internet
systems architecture client specific compatibility issues
-
Responsible for managing technical resources within the budget and project schedule and
review the work of development team and recognize system deficiencies, and implement
effective solutions.

Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients

Keeps development team well informed of changes within the organization and general
corporate news. Delivers engaging, informative, well organized presentations.
-
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion and understanding how to
communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions and
Leads internal teams/task forces.
-
Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.

Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
-
Continuously reduce implementation cycle time, minimize deal slippage & associated
revenue conversion lead time.

Attention to detail and comfort dealing with completing administrative work associated
with solution delivery

Effectively manage client relationships and ultimately act as trusted advisor – particularly
in relation to upper tier client base. Enhanced client satisfaction should be reflected in
positive client survey scores & documented during detailed post implementation reviews
& case book write ups for future implementation usage & marketing purposes

Accurately report project status, escalating effectively for “on hold” & slow moving
deals. Effective workload management/prioritization to increase capacity/productivity
within the implementation team

Implementing immix cloud platform on the client servers on approved hardware and
network configuration also making sure they have correct server licenses
-
Good knowledge on SQL Server and scripting with knowledge on configuring Secure
Socket Layer
-
Manage service levels and interacting with all levels of management and roles within the
client organization
-
Responsible to configure and maintain the Network Load Balancing, High availability
environments, IIS Clustering, SQL Troubleshooting and writing query
-
Familiarity with security technologies including Lenel/RBH Access Control, and Incident
Management System
-
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to
multitask in a fast paced environment.
-
Responsible to give presentations to both technical and non-technical
-
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (such as firewall and certificate
management, and software-related issues)
-
Responsible to Create technical documentation to assist in the deployment and
administration of Immix and VMS software
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
5 years related work experience in IT industry
-
Baccalaureate degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering is must
-
Professional Certification in Testing or equivalent
-
General knowledge of IT: Infrastructure and Networks and WebEx experience is a plus.
-
General knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) industry a must.
-
Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio.)
-
Experience in managing software related projects
-
Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative
skills a must

PREFFERED/DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
-
3+ years of experience in security industry with immix knowledge is a must
-
Preferred Post-graduate degree in Information technology or a Master’s Degree in a related
field.
-
Professional qualification in Prince 2, PMP or equivalent is preferred
-
Professional Certifications: Microsoft Certified in Planning, Implementing and Maintaining
or equivalent preferred
-
Experience in configuring and manage networks, including configuring routers,V-lans,
firewalls and video hardware products
-
Experience with Web service applications and web based cloud solutions
-
A good understanding of the software development cycle and testing life cycle
-
Experience Network Load Balancing, High availability environments, IIS Clustering ,SQL
Troubleshooting and query writing
-
Experience in security products including access control systems and fire/intruder systems
