“I Will Build My Church”
World Mission Sunday Appeal
Second Collection—October 18—19
Next weekend our parish will celebrate World Mission
Sunday. This year we are invited to reach out and help
build the Church in Mongolia, the world’s youngest
Catholic Church, as well as local churches throughout the
Missions, in the most remote areas across our world.
Through the work of these churches, and their witness to
Christ, the poor receive practical help and experience
God’s love and mercy, His hope and peace. Please keep
the Missions in your daily prayers. Please come prepared
next weekend to give generously in the collection for the
Society for the Propagation of the Faith. For more
information please visit www.iamamissionary.org.
NOTE: All contributions placed in the first collection
basket will be for parish expenses. All contributions in
the second collection, taken up after Communion, will be
for the World Mission Sunday. Please place your
donations accordingly.

Alrededor del año 1950, unos negros angolas

sin causar daños ni al muro ni a la imagen del Cristo

Are you a compassionate person?
Are you a kind person?
Do you enjoy helping people?
If you answer yes do any of these three questions you are
a perfect candidate.
Our basic function is to meet with the family of the
deceased member of our Parish. We work as a team of
two while we guide the family in choosing the Readings
and Hymns for the Funeral Mass. We find planning the
Liturgy for their loved one is comforting and helps the
family members in the grieving process. They always
deeply appreciate our help.
To be a Bereavement Minister at Saint Vincent de Paul
Church is a special blessing, you will be grateful to be a
part of this beautiful Ministry.
If you feel the Lord leading you to our Bereavement
Ministry please call Dorothy – 714-842-3000 and I will
be happy to explain our procedures more thoroughly.
