Dual Line Isolation Valves CHEMICAL PROPULSION_
CHEMICAL PROPULSION_ Dual Line Isolation Valves Moog torque motor valves have been in production for almost four decades. Torque motor valves were developed for Galileo, LEASAT, INSAT, and Minuteman. The latch valve is bi-stable, and will stay in the last (open/closed) commanded position. The valves can be used for controlling two separate propellants or pressurization gas lines. This valve utilizes a single torque motor to isolate fluids in two hermetically separate lines. Key Advantages • All welded design to prevent external leakage • PTFE seal and stainless steel construction • Direct microswitch position indication • Transition tubes available for stainless to titanium © Astrium © Air Force Space Command © ESA Dual Line Line Isolation Valves Dual Isolation Valves Performance Characteristics Characteristic ¼ inch line, Torque Motor, Stainless Steel Max Operating Pressure, MEOP [psia(bar)] 298 (20.5) Proof Pressure [psia(bar)] 685 (47.2) Burst Pressure [psia(bar)] 1600 (110) Flow Coefficient (GPM water/psid^0.5) 0.0024 Operating Voltage Range [Vdc] 18 to 42.5 Response Time [msec] 20 Power Consumption [watts] 68 at 42.5 Vdc, 70F Leakage per Seat, Internal [scc/hr GHe] 1 Leakage, External [scc/s GHe] 1E-6 Cycle Life [cycles] 5,000 Weight [lbm (kg)] 1.32 (0.6) Inlet Filtration [micron absolute rating] none Operating Temperature Range[ºF (ºC)] 14 to 131 (-10 to 55) Representative Model Numbers -051-235 500 Jamison Road Plant 20, East Aurora, NY 14052 USA www.moog.com/space © 2 0 13 Mo o g, Inc.
