Eligibility is limited to drivers who are holders of a current A, B or C Grade KA licence. D grade or provisional

licence holders are not eligible to enter. Your attention is drawn to Rule 20.25(g)
Refusal or acceptance of entries as per rule 1.16
The Race Secretary reserves the right to allocate/change Race Numbers as per rule 25.14(b)
The promoters reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel any event as per the 2014 KA Manual
Refund of Entry Fee as per rule 23.10(b)(ii & iii)

If less than eight (8) genuine entries are received to constitute a Class by the listed close of entries, then the Class
will NOT be contested. All drivers whose entry is not accepted for any Class shall be notified as soon as possible

PRIZES
Trophies will be awarded as per Rule 20.31

MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN LANE - As per Rule 17.10
The Mechanical Breakdown lane will NOT be in use at this event.
KART RETRIEVAL
Pit Crew with trolleys will NOT be given access to the circuit during qualifying and racing. Retrieval is at the
discretion of the Clerk of the Course.
Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshall and then only if wearing a “Hi-viz” vest.
Karts can be retrieved via access through the In/Out Grid or collected from the recovery vehicle located near the
double gate next to St John Ambulance.
INSURANCE
Insurance has been effected for this Meeting in accordance with Chapter 3 of the 2014 KA Manual.
NOISE LEVELS
Maximum permissible noise levels shall be in accordance with Chapter 24 of the 2014 KA Manual.
SCRUTINEERING
Scrutineering for this race meeting will be in accordance with KA Rules.
In particular we draw your attention to Rules 1.17, 1.21, 1.22 and Chapter 12 of KA Rules.
As per rule 1.17 of the 2014 AKA Manual, each kart shall have affixed to it a correct scrutineering sticker or
identifying mark supplied for the meeting. This signifies that the driver has confirmed their entry for the meeting and
completed a Scrutineering Form relevant to the entry.
As from Wednesday 12th November, the Grid Marshall/Scrutineers shall not allow any kart that does not display a
correct scrutineering sticker or identifying mark to practice, time-qualify or race. Failure to comply will result in the
driver being excluded from the Meeting.

ENGINE SEALING AND CHASSIS TAGGING
As per rules 1.30(i) and 1.30(j) of the 2014 KA Manual.
CONTROL FUEL - Refer Rule 22.2(g) (i) & (ii)
The only fuel permitted for this event will be Caltex Premium Unleaded
The Control Fuel for this event must ONLY be purchased from:

Opening hours are between Monday - Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm & Saturday - Sunday 8:00am - 6:00pm.
The control fuel can ONLY be purchased from Wednesday 12th November and MUST be used from
Friday 14th Sunday until conclusion of the event on Sunday 16th November 2014.
*Random samples of competitor’s fuel may be taken during the meeting and tested for conformity to samples of the
Control Fuel taken from the supplier on these dates. Competitors are reminded that fuel tanks and drums should
be empty prior to being used for fuel purchased for this meeting. No dumping of fuel will be allowed on site.
TRANSPONDER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
AMB compatible transponders must be mounted in accordance with Rule 25.31.
Note: All karts MUST have fitted and correctly charged and operating transponders for all sessions commencing
from Thursday 13th November 2014.
TIMING AND LAP SCORING
As per Rule 20.28 of the 2014 KA Manual.
TYRE POOLING
Tyre Pooling will be in affect at this meeting as per Rule 23.10
Tyres will be available at the designated times as laid out in the timetable. It is the drivers responsibility
to collect his/her tyres between the stated times.
NB - All competitors are to supply their own wet weather tyres and must present them for marking scanning to the
nominated area when directed.
BULLETIN BOARD LOCATION
Official Notices will be posted on the Bulletin Board located in the BBQ area near the Club rooms.
GATE FEE
A fee of $5.00 per person, per day will be charged (under 16 years free). Gate fee will be charged from 9:00am,
unless you have the appropriate pass, eg…Driver/Pit Crew/Official Pass.

VEHICLE / TRAILER ACCESS
No Vehicles and/or trailers are permitted in the pit area. All vehicles and trailers are to be parked in the designated
parking areas allocated. NO ROPING OFF….PIT ALLOCATION BY PIT MARSHALS ONLY.
PIT ALLOCATION
A maximum 3x3 metre pit space will be allocated to each entry, NOTHING to encroach outside the allocated 3x3
metre pit space. Allocations of pit spaces will be done on receipt of entry. If competitors want to pit with or next to
another competitor the attached “Pit Allocation Form” must be filled in and returned with entry. If a form is not
received allocation will be done at the discretion of the organising committee and not changed.

SECURITY
Security will be supplied by the organiser’s and will utilise the services of a professional company. The complex
will be monitored in the evenings by Security from Wednesday 12th November until Sunday morning 16th November
2014.
TRADE AREA
Trade spaces are available for interested traders upon application to the STKC. A fee may apply depending on the
area required and if entries are received from the applicant. All enquires to be made to the STKC.

FURTHER NOTES
Pit crew MUST wear a non KA safety vest or similar Hi-viz clothing to gain entry to the track/circuit area.
NO HI-VIZ….NO ENTRY TO THE TRACK/CIRCUIT. All persons must display Pit Crew ID when accessing the
track. Pit Crew must also wear suitable attire including covered in shoes as per Rule 14.11 & 1.5.
There will be NO RIDING of push bikes, scooters, motorised scooters, skate boards, mini bikes or similar apparatus
in the grounds at any time (officials and disabled persons excepted). Any person or persons found riding or
operating any apparatus within the grounds will have the apparatus confiscated and it will not be returned until the
completion of the meeting. There will be no unlicenced driving of motor vehicles in the complex. Ball sports are
prohibited whilst the track is open.
No animals allowed, with the exception of nominated security companies guard dogs and guide dogs.
The club does not have EFTPOS facilities available trackside.

2014 STATE RULES RELATING TO OVER 40’s NATIONAL SUPER HEAVY
Class to be run in conformity with the relevant Technical Specifications on the AKA Website in all respects except as
set out below. No other changes are permitted. Driver must be over 40 years of age to enter this event.
