Our Economic Engine
Our seven refineries are managed as one integrated system, transferring feedstocks among the refineries to optimize capacity and achieve economies of scale
that reduce capital expenditures and improve efficiency.

Garyville refinery (La.) 522,000 bpcd
Galveston Bay refinery (Texas) 451,000 bpcd
Catlettsburg refinery (Ky.)
242,000 bpcd
Robinson refinery (Ill.) 212,000 bpcd
Detroit refinery (Mich.) 123,000 bpcd
Texas City refinery (Texas) 84,000 bpcd
Canton refinery (Ohio) 80,000 bpcd
We use a diverse slate of crude oils procured from numerous suppliers that are
approximately 60 percent domestic, 16 percent Canadian and 24 percent from
other sources.

MPLX common carrier pipelines
