XFTP SAT SCAN Satellite Meter ● Displays Dish Orientation (Az, El, Po) ● Supports DVB-S and DVB-S2 Signals ● Simultaneous Display of Signal Strength and Signal Quality ● QPSK and 8PSK Signal Level, C/N, BER, CBER, and VBER Measurements ● C and Ku Bands ● More Than Two Hours of LNB Power ● Full Spectrum View ● Auto-Satellite Identification Overview The XFTP SAT SCAN ™ satellite meter allows for a fast and simple satellite dish installation and alignment process. This meter is an excellent choice for installers and contractors to be provided with self-calculated azimuth, elevation, and polarization for initial dish setup, signal level and quality tuning. The meter supports both DVB-S2 and DVB-S signals. Support for H.264, MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 video formats is also provided and is displayed on a full color LCD screen. It also measures digital satellite QPSK, 8PSK signal levels, BER, CBER, VBER and C/N to quickly determine the quality of a signal. The XFTP SAT SCAN uses simple bar graphs and audio tones to provide the necessary tools for fine-tuning the dish position. Power is also provided to the LNB for dish setup without a receiver or TV connected. With the Easyfinder feature, even the most novice user can perform a satellite dish installation. A list of the most commonly used satellites in North America comes pre-configured with the XFTP SAT SCAN. It also allows storage of up to 80 satellite configurations, 40 measurement records, and 10 Spectrums.
