Looking for a new and exciting way to teach Investing to your students? Want to be part of an on-line trading community that uses professional trading software to compete with other high schools? Joe Navickas from Deerfield High School teamed up with Todd Horwitz, a local trader with over 30 years of experience trading options to create curriculum for high school students. The program teaches technical and option trading along with many other investing concepts. All resources are free and web based. The program can be used for any investment class, investment club, or a supplement to an existing business course. TD Ameritrade trading software is highlighted in this program. Get students excited about becoming true entrepreneurs by giving them the opportunity to create and fully develop their own product or service. Real-world entrepreneurs and business experts will serve as coaches and mentors guiding student teams through the process of ideation, market research, and business plan development. Student teams learn about marketing, accounting, human resources, as well as the legal aspects of running a business to get them geared up for Pitch Week.
