Supplement
WPI offers a variety of institutional merit scholarships to admitted students each year. All applicants for admission
are automatically considered for general merit scholarships, including the Presidential and Unity scholarships, as well as the Chemistry and Biochemistry and Pre-Medical Scholars Programs. In addition, WPI is pleased to also offer
a number of specialty merit scholarships to admitted students, including the ExxonMobil Scholars Program, Foisie
Scholars Program, Global Scholars Program, and NCSSSMST Scholarship Program.

While all applicants for admission are automatically considered for all scholarships, students wishing to strengthen
their candidacy for the WPI specialty merit scholarships may submit the WPI Merit Scholarship Supplement Form
as well as additional letters of reference. We encourage candidates to submit this form as close as possible to the
admissions application type deadline (Early Action Round I, Early Action Round II, or Regular Decision) that the
applicant selected. Scholarship consideration is ongoing throughout the admissions process, but typically within
two to three weeks of an admissions review.
