RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. BODY PROTECTORS must be worn in all events, hats to standard PAS015,
BS EN 1384, must be used when mounted. Medical armbands must be
worn on arms not legs. Hunt dress or cross country colours are
permitted.
2. Horses must not be left unattended tied to trailers or horseboxes.
3. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence must make way for a following
competitor who is about to overtake.
4. NO entries will be accepted by telephone.
5. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less £5 to cover
expenses on receipt of a SAE within 14 days.
6. REGRETFULLY NO REFUNDS can be made for any reason, except for
cancellation of the event (see rule above).
7. The committee reserves the right to refuse entry without giving a
reason, to cancel or alter the classes and times.
8. The judges and secretary’s decision is final in all matters. Any objection
must be made in writing within 30 minutes after the results are
published and accompanied by a fee of £50.00. Video evidence will not
be allowed.
9. The Organisers do not hold themselves responsible for anything that
may happen to competitors, onlookers, spectators, their property or
horses in connection with or arising out of this event.
10.ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES. No extendable leads
are permitted.
11.There is first aid cover on site to provide pre-hospital treatment during
the event if required. All competitors confirm that they are fit to
compete and that they consent to any treatment which may be given,
advised or offered by the first aiders.
12.Excluding Class 1 the winner will be the horse and rider with the least
number of jumping faults, nearest the bogey time, based on a fair
hunting pace.

Challenge Cup – Best CLC Hunt Member.
Harold Radford Cup – Best Cowdray PC member
Jester Cup – Best Chiddingfold PC Member
Castle Turret Cup – Best Leconfield PC Member
Class 5: GPS Visual Communications LTD Trophy – Highest
placed horse belonging to a member or subscriber of CLC Hunt.
Please state eligibility for cups on entry form.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Start times will be posted on the CLCH website on Friday 17th
October. In the event this competition has to be cancelled
information will be posted on the website

First aid fee £4.00 per rider.
Please send a separate £5.00 cheque for Number Cloth deposit
with your entry fee - this will be returned on the day. Cheques
payable to C, L & C Hunt.
The course is available for walking on Saturday 18th October
2.00-5.00p.m.
Access is from the A272 through Iping Village.
Large HGV Lorries will not fit over the bridge and will cause an
obstruction. Please be patient when approaching the venue as
the lane is narrow and with large numbers of vehicles arriving
and leaving delays are possible.
Refreshments will be available.
