2014 NOVEMBER EXAM STUDY INFORMATION GRADE 8 GENERAL INFORMATION Each learner must consult the notice board outside the Grade 8 Tutor office to see in which venue they will write their exam. Learners are seated alphabetically and not in academic classes. The venue will be the same for the whole examination period. No sharing of stationery, calculators, compasses, coloured pencils, sharpeners etc. will be allowed. Stationery must be brought into the venue in a clear zip lock bag or clear pencil case. No space cases or coloured pencil boxes will be allowed. Calculators should be brought to school every day. No Tippex is allowed during exams. Full school uniform is required during the exams. Learners must be on time for school. Extra time will not be given to learners who arrive late for their exams. Cell phones must be switched off and remain on the learner’s desk during the exams. No cell phones are allowed to be kept on the learner during the exam. No learner may use their cell phone as their calculator. A DOCTOR’S CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED IF YOU ARE ABSENT FOR AN EXAMINATION.
