Fundraising Opportunity Plans are being formulated to sell Christmas wreaths to remember and honor America's deceased veterans at Calvary Cemetery through the Wreaths Across America (additional information can be found at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org) Program. The program was established in the mid 1990's by a nursery owner with surplus Christmas wreaths wanting to honor veterans buried at Arlington National Cemetery. The ANCHOR October 2014 Today the program is present in all fifty states and a number of locations outside the United States. A wreath is purchased for $15 to honor a veteran. $10 pays for the cost of the wreath and the remaining $5 is returned to the sponsoring organization selling the wreath which would be our Assembly. Your financial support would both remember and honor a deceased veteran and also provide funds for our Assembly to support patriotic projects and programs identified through approved requests Comments for the Good of the Order Please keep all of the Parish Priests in the Winona Diocese in your prayers because they are over worked. Please pray for vocations to the priesthood, deaconate and religious life. Please pray for our Armed Forces Servicemen and Women who keep our country safe.
