Diane Cochran, our Transition and Employment Services Director, spoke with us about various services that are available to our students, and when to access those services. Diane provided a handout to those present so we might refer to it over time. I have additional copies of this handout in my office. Feel free to stop by or call for a copy if you are interested. Donna has sent home some additional flyers with updates. They include the following: Jay Dunlap NO SCHOOL tomorrow-October 17. Enjoy the day. Principal This week has been Spirit Week to support our FOOTBALL players. We will have a short pep rally today at 2:45. The games are this Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19, in Lincoln at the Abbott Sport Center. On Saturday they will be at 9:00, 11:00 and 1:30. Sunday’s game times are tentative right now as the officials will meet Saturday evening to discuss Sunday game times. As of right now, we believe we may be playing the same schedule on Sunday as we do on Saturday. PICTURE DAY REMINDER: Picture Day is Wednesday, October 22!!!! A Student Directory Update page was sent home with your child. WEDDING DANCE-A wedding dance will be held at Madonna in honor of the marriage of Elizabeth Springer and Robert Connors. It will be October 23rd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Please call or email you child’s teacher to schedule an appointment. All emails are the person’s initial of their first name followed by their last name, then “@madonnaschool.org.” For example, mine is [email protected]. And please remember there is NO SCHOOL for students that day. October 31, 2014 = NO SCHOOL- Happy Halloween! November 6, 2014, FALL HARVEST DANCE at Madonna. HOME AND SCHOOL will hold a meeting during the dance. November 7 – NO SCHOOL due to Teacher Inservice November 26-28 – NO SCHOOL for Thanksgiving Break It has also come to my attention that a few of you are unable to open my letters.
