CheckValves
Integrated safety
CODAN CheckValves are a small detail with maximum
importance for patients' safety. As a firm or optional
integral part in various CODAN products, the
CheckValves reliably prevent reflux or back flow of
infusion solution without additional measures and also
ensure that blood does not flow back from the patient
into the infusion system.

As with all CODAN products, the CODAN
CheckValves also manifest decades of experience in
research and development.
Precision in production ensures maximum reliability
and ease of movement of the CheckValve. The valve
opens automatically, even with only the slightest
conveying pressure and closes. It closes automatically as soon as a counter-pressure results or
the conveying pressure has dropped again. Even
highly viscous infusions pass through the valves
securely and reliably.
The CheckValves have a particulary low filling
volume of 0.15 ml and can be integrated into all
infusion systems without any problems.
Be it in standard infusion therapy on wards, in the
operating theatre, in intensive care or in anaesthetics –
CODAN CheckValves can be used in all areas of
everyday hospital work.

Can be used in many versions
The matching solution can be found for each case of
application. The CheckValve can be integrated into
an existing system as an individual component. In
Inline
CheckValve
addition, a variety of connection sets, extensions,
connectors, completely pre-fabricated systems and
special systems with CheckValves are available.
All the variants are available with differing tubing
diameters. Connectors with CheckValves are
available as double, triple or quadruple connectors.

Particulary comfortable and user-friendly are the
connections provided with a rotating collar, which
enable secure closing of the Luer-Lock without
tube torsion. Naturally, CODAN also provides all the
standard infusion sets with integrated CheckValves.
