Dallas Asian American Bar Association 2014 Awards Event and Reception
Dear DAABA Supporter,
As a supporter of DAABA, we write to invite you to join and sponsor the Seventh
Annual DAABA Awards Event: A Night at the Symphony, to be held this year on
Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony
Center.
This year, we are honored to have Don Liu, the general counsel, secretary and
corporate senior vice president for Xerox Corporation, as the keynote speaker for our
Awards event.
The VIP Reception for our esteemed sponsors is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. VIP guests will
have the opportunity to mingle with our keynote speaker, local judges, and prominent
corporate and law firm supporters of DAABA. The awards program and presentation by
our keynote speaker on the main/lobby level of the symphony center is scheduled from
7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend our annual reception
honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the local legal
community and the Asian American community in general. As with last year, DAABA
expects an enthusiastic turnout from in-house counsel, law firm attorneys, as well as
judges and local government and civic leaders.
We encourage you and your firm or organization to be a sponsor of DAABA’s A Night at
the Symphony. There are a number of different sponsorship opportunities, and all sponsors
will be included in various promotional materials in advance of, during and after the
awards reception. Details about each sponsorship level are provided in the enclosed
materials. Individual VIP or general tickets can also be purchased with the enclosed form.
Please note that access to the VIP Reception will be restricted to Friends and
Sponsors only. Your sponsorship will help fund scholarships and other local community
service activities. At the awards reception, DAABA will award a scholarship to a law
student who intends to practice in the DFW area, and a scholarship to a young student
who has made an exceptional contribution to the community, achieved an outstanding
accomplishment, or exhibited qualities and characteristics extraordinary for his or her age
or circumstances.
