Safe Riding
PACKING AND DESPATCH
We always endeavour to despatch orders on the day of receipt. Customers are normally notified
if there is anything but a short delay due to stocking problems. Our parcels are strongly packed
to withstand the rigours of overseas shipment and are insured against damage or loss in transit.
Within the UK we operate a collection system for parts. Telephone us when the item is securely
packed and we will arrange collection the same or next day.
WORLD RECORD
On 24th September 1972 Norman gained
the World Sidecar Land Speed Record.
This was achieved on the Concorde runway at Fairford, Gloucestershire, UK using a supercharged 850cc Triumph Trident powered, home built sidecar outfit.
Norman averaged 161.8 mph (260.8kph)
for the two way run over 1 kilometre.An
archive sound recording of one of the
runs can be found on our website.

the 50s & 60s. Hand made in England from aluminium alloy,
it will carry.4.9 gallons-nearly 40% more than stock. It is supplied in bare metal and comes complete with fittings and a
Monza cap. We do not recommend giving this tank a polished finish. An HBK121 British petrol tap is required.

us by the son of the man who made many of
the tanks for the Factory racers – you can have
no better pedigree. Supplied natural self colour for you to finish as you wish with paint, lacquer or just polish. Longer than the original, so
it will not fit with the standard seat. All mountings are supplied, including the race type rubber strap. An HBK121 British petrol tap is required.

All our silencers contain modern stainless steel wool and long-strand glass wool lagging. This gives a beautiful deep note & ensures that performance & noise will not

As our American cousins like to say ‘there is no substitute for cubes’ If you want get some
extra performance from your Bonneville, this is the way to go. This top quality kit is the result
of a collaboration between ourselves & WISECO Inc. of USA. Compared with the stock 790cc
motor torque is raised by 50% & power by 40%! The increased torque at low revs means that
the bike really pulls well, whilst the power increase means that it keeps pulling right to the rev.
limiter! So whether you just want improved throttle response for easy riding or whether you
want extra power at the top end-this is the favourite way to get there.
AIR ELIMINATION KIT HBK134
The air injection system on the Bonneville is designed
to clean up the exhaust but results in extra hot pipes
giving blue chrome and backfiring. This kit supplies
all parts required to remove this unnecessary and unsightly system. Full instructions are included. Not suitable for EFI models 2008 on.

We keep a range of main jet sizes to suit all
standard and modified set-ups. Our advice
is freely available to ensure correct size for
your machine.
We have carried out extensive dynamometer testing of the EFI bikes and found that our
silencers and bellmouth can be fitted without any modifications to the engine or electronics
being needed. On these models it is important NOT to remove the Cold Air Injection system.
POWER COMMANDER HBK195/395
For those who wish to tune the EFI models to optimum performance we have assisted Dynojet
UK in development of their popular Power Commander units specifically for the Triumph twins.
The unit is easily fitted and supplied preprogrammed to give your bike optimum fuel
metering and performance. Unlike other
types of “re-mapping”

Commander does not make any permanent
changes so on removal the system is
returned to its previous stock condition.

These are produced by the makers of the IKON
rear units & similarly feature a rising rate. This
means that the forks will move more readily
on a ripply surface & will not dip so severely
under heavy braking conditions.

We have designed this fork
brace to not only
do a good job in
keeping the front
end straight & true, but also to look good. It is
CNC machined from solid high quality aluminium alloy, & is light, stiff & has a satin finish. It is not necessary to remove fork legs in
order to fit it. The underside has tapped holes
to accept our fibreglass mudguard, or it can
be used with the original guard.

Remember Koni Dial-a-Ride units? Now we
have IKON. Progressive rate springs, 4 way
click adjustable damping & the same top quality, plus rebuildable too. A huge improvement
in suspension stability over the standard
ones. This is especially true on the newer
Bonneville and SE which have shorter travel.
Supplied normally with black springs, but can
also come with chromium plated springs &
top shrouds (especially for the America &
Speedmaster models) at extra cost.Now also
available black bodies with either chrome or
black springs.
Note the slightly longer HBK208 fits both
Thruxton and Scrambler. HBK308 fits Cruiser

We produce 3 types of handlebars lower than
the original ones. The ‘UK’ bars are a similar
shape to those fitted on UK bikes in the 19601980 period, so are rather like the originals
but lower. The ‘M’ bars can be fitted in several ways but basically have the downward
slope to the ends like our ‘Ace’ bars but are
higher. ‘Ace’bars are a classic style like clipon bars but higher. All bars are normally supplied with the tapped end plugs as the originals, but if you wish to use a bar end mirror,
they are also available without the plugs.

way adjustable steering dampers can really
help to make the bike hold its line on long
bumpy corners or when crossing lines or

Norman Hyde has collaborated with GIVI, one of the world’s leading producers of hard luggage
for motorcycles, to ensure that our carriers and pannier mounting frames are compatible with
the Italian company’s p atented Monokey system. By fitting a GIVI adapter plate (HBK176) to
our carriers, a GIVI Monokey top box can be fitted, bringing with it all the benefits of their
durable, waterproof luggage. It is called Monokey because the mechanism that secures the
case to the adapter plate or frame is operated via the lock that secures the case itself with a
single key.

accept the Givi Monokey Boxes.
The HBK375 Cruiser kit fits neatly to existing
mountings on the bike and will fit with our

MONZA STYLE PETROL CAP

The classic “Monza” quick opening fuel filler caps
were almost universally used on racing machines
of the 1950s to 1970s. Suit able for the
Bonneville, T100, Thruxton and Scrambler. It will
