Berlin top eyewear label Lunettes Kollektion and rising British designer Christopher Shannon have teamed up on a vibrant collection of
sunglasses debuting during London Collections: Men.
Christopher Shannon for Lunettes Kollektion shades provide the smoke and mirrors for the rite of passage to thoughtful rebellion.
The wide double-bridge frames were created exclusively for Shannon, and are multicolor-sprayed for a slightly DIY vibe that pairs
with the raw yet refined collaged feel of the designer’s Spring/Summer 15 menswear collection. Large shiny, mirrored lenses in vivid
tones of pink, orange, yellow, green, and blue give good reason and room to hide your eyes without going unseen – statement glasses
for mixed messages.
Liverpool-born, London-based Shannon is known for his uncompromising reinvented sportswear that pulls from the past but is ever
moving forward – making him an apt match for an experiment with Lunettes Kollektion’s evocative eyewear styles. Shannon describes
the resulting collaboration sunglasses as “somewhere between a sports style and something more party” – in tune and on tone with
his latest looks.
