INVITATION
SCALABISCUP 2015
Dear Friends,
Gimno Clube Santarém (GCS), VIVER SANTARÉM, EEM and the City of Santarém would like
to invite you to participate in the third edition of the International Trampoline, Double-Mini
Trampoline and Tumbling Competition “SCALABICUP 2015”, from 1st to 5th of July in
Santarém, Portugal.
Santarém has been a city connected to the gymnastics, especially with the trampoline
gymnastics, playing an important role in the development of this area. At the first year we
made the dream take place, at the second edition we consolidated that dream, and this year,
with the organization of the third edition of the competition, we want to strengthen it, make
it bigger, even more appealing and reach the FIG certification.
We rely on the contribution of all, to become a national and international reference,
consolidated and with future. A competition, able to provide to the gymnasts, clubs and
federations the opportunity to compete at a high level, and to be a challenging and motivating
moment.

PARTICIPANTS
The “SCALABISCUP” is an International event, open to
all clubs affiliated in the respective Federations as
well as Representatives of National Federations,
District or Regional Associations. The participating
gymnast should have a valid insurance, being the same
of the gymnast’s responsibility. The organizers will not
be held responsible for any accidents.
RULES
The rules of the “SCALABISCUP” competition are the
rules defined in the FIG Technical Regulation and
the FIG Code of Points 2013-2016 with the
exceptions foreseen in the present regulation.
Each gymnast can only participate in one group in
each of the classes.
FINALS
TRAMPOLINE, DMT and
TUMBLING
The competitors with 8 (eight) best totals of the two
executed series in the qualifying rounds in the different
classes, will participate in the final.
If only 8 or less gymnasts take part on the qualifying
rounds, the results of the final will be added to the
qualifications to obtain the final result.

TEAM RESULTS
Winner: The top 3 result in Individual Competition from
the Qualifying round will be added together to get a total
score.
There are no team final
PRIZES
The 1ST, 2ND and 3RD classified in each individual
class will receive a medal.
All the competitors will receive a Participation
Certificate.
The teams classified in 1ST, 2ND and 3RD place in the
team competition will receive a trophy.

It is compulsory that the participating Delegations
bring one (one) judge with FIG brevet for every 8
competitors (2-8 = 1 Judge, 9-16 = 2 Judges, 17-24 =
3 Judges, 25 or more = 4 Judges).
The Clubs, Associations or Federations that don´t
oblige by the established rules relating to the
disposability of judges will be penalized with the
payment of 200 Euros (Two Hundred Euros) for each
missing judge. The non-payment of the penalization
will implicate the non-participation in the event of
the respective competitors. All the judges indicated
by
the
respective
Clubs, Associations
and
Federations to the organization, will have to be
present at the respective judges meetings..
Note: Transport, accommodation and meals of each
delegation judges are responsibility of respective
delegation.

ENTRIES
Entries will be considered on a first come first served
basis (email or fax).
Declaration of interest: until 28TH February 2015
Definitive Entries: until 15TH April 2015
Definitive entries will only be accepted with payment of:
 100% of the amount of the entries (amount not
refund);
 Penalty for not having a Judge if that is the
case (amount refunded until the 15TH May) and
50% of the amount of the accommodation/meals,
when requested. The remaining 50% of the
accommodation costs must be paid by 15TH May
or to be paid upon Accreditation in Cash (euros).

ENTRY FEE
€20 (twenty euros) per gymnast in Individual
Trampoline, or Double-mini Trampoline or Tumbling
€30 (thirty euros) per gymnast that apply for two
specialties;
€45 (forty five euros) per gymnast that participate at all
apparatus
The entries for the Team Competition are free of charge
Note:
With definitive entries and payment until 31 of
December 2014– €18 each one (DMT, TR or TU); €27
(2 apparatus); €42 (3 apparatus)
CLOSING CEREMONY
The Closing Ceremony (Farewell party) will take place at
Municipality Pool Complex, on Saturday, 4TH of July

ACCOMMODATION, MEALS The Organizers will arrange at a determined fee,
accommodation and meals from the 29TH of June to 6TH
AND TRANSPORTATION
of July.
If desirable, Organization, can manage special packs
according with Delegations needs.


Cancelation of accommodation between 15TH of
April and 15TH May 2015, will be subject to a charge
of 50€ per person.
Cancelation of accommodation after 1ST June is not
refundable.
All the prices will be available at November 15TH at

Important Notes:

VISAS
INSURANCE
To require a Special Declaration/Invitation in order to
obtain Visas for entry in Portugal, send information by
fax or e-mail as soon as possible, the list with the
complete names of all the elements of the
delegation, dates of birth and respective numbers
and validity of passports.
The participating gymnast should have a valid
insurance, being the same of the gymnast’s
responsibility. The Host Federation, the Organizing
Committee and the FIG will not be held responsible for
any liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation
and the like.

to participating delegations at the beginning of April.
OTHER FACILITIES
All the participants of the SCALABISCUP 2015 will have
free access to the City’s Water Park between 1ST and 5TH
July.
