We welcome any breed and colour. Whilst they do not possess the show quality conformation of a show horse, they should in their own way be a delight to ride, being uncomplicated with impeccable manners. A “Pleasure Mount” is NOT an inexperienced mount with show quality conformation who is destined for the open show ring. All mounts that have competed in Open Show Classes at any Show/Sports/A&P are ineligible to enter this Show. An open show ring class is defined as any class (other than Pleasure Horse classes) which are not restricted to breed type (for example Park Hack, Show Hack, Saddle Hunter, Riding Horse, Show Pony, Saddle Hunter Pony). Simple snaffle bridles with cavesson noseband only. No nosebands below the bit. No bits with poll action – please check the Dressage NZ rules or refer to Show Committee if unsure. Whips allowed, must not exceed 76cm in length No spurs RECREATIONAL PLEASURE – may compete in Western gear, bitless bridles, as they see fit Jackets optional – smart casual turnout at all times. No singlet/sleeveless tops Adults may ride ponies in Horse rings Any Child Rider under the Age of 17 on a HORSE must ride in the 17-34 age bracket The KRC Committee reserves the right to alter the programme due to numbers etc as they see fit RECREATIONAL and LEAD REIN Rings are NON-HOY 2015 qualifiers ** Postal entries must be received by Thursday 4th December ** Karen Walker - 216 Te Waka Road, Te Horo 5581 NO EMAIL ENTRIES OR INTERNET BANKING AVAILABLE Enquires ONLY to [email protected] *** Entries will be accepted on the day with a $5 levy per mount *** Kapiti Riding Club Pleasure Show Entry 2014 Rider Name …………………………………………………………………… Age ………………………….
