The Evergreen Program provides visibility to those chapters that have been successful in implementing programs that increase member communication and involvement. Each year all chapters are invited to nominate their own programs and to provide details on the goals of the program, how it was implemented, and what the results were. The Chapter Subcommittee has the difficult task of selecting a small group of chapters, which are recognized nationally and locally for their achievements. We are excited to announce the 2014 Evergreen Award will be presented to our chapter for “The Maryland Chapter Medical Student Committee: Creating a Legacy of Medical Student Leadership Development program” during the Friday reception.
