KEYNOTE SPEAKER & CLINICIAN
* Ed Crane *
Ed is a former SUP National Staff member and is the Conference Softball Umpire Coordinator for the Big
East Conference (DI) which includes DePaul & Butler. Ed also assigns the Ivy League, MAAC, Patriot,
and American Athletic Conference. Ed is currently the UIC for the East Coast Umpire Associates. Ed
currently resides in Newnan, GA.
Clinician : Art Hill
Art assigns the following NCAA Softball conferences : DI: Big East, AAC, & A10 Midwest Region,
Horizon League; DII: Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC); DIII: CCIW, Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), Midwest Conference (South
Div). Art was also the Umpire-in-Chief for Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fast Pitch League and
has officiated the 2010 DIII National Championship.
Clinician : Jeff Brice
Jeff has officiated NCAA Division I/II/III conferences including Missouri Valley (MVC), Big East, Big
12, Mid-American Conference (MAC), Horizon League, and GLVC. Jeff has officiated the Horizon
League & multiple GLVC Conference Tournaments and has worked many years as an NPF umpire for
the Chicago Bandits. Jeff officiated NCAA DIII Regionals in 2010 & 2014 and DII/DIII Super Regionals
in 2012, 2013, & 2014. Jeff is also a Sub-Assignor for the CCIW (DIII) and NACC (DIII) schools.
Clinician : Dan Krueger
Dan assigns Lewis University (DII) non-conference games and is an Evaluator for U. of Chicago (DIII).
Dan has officiated NCAA Division I/II/III conferences including Horizon League, Mid-American (MAC)
Conference, GLVC, and CCIW. Dan has also officiated many Chicago Bandits NPF contests. Dan was
selected to three Div II & two Div III NCAA Regionals and multiple GLVC Div II and CCIW Div III
Conference Tournaments. Dan was appointed as the CCIW Conference Tournament UIC in 2011 and
2012.

Carl & Dan are Chicago area DII, DIII, & JUCO NCAA Softball Assignors & Evaluators
