Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Status Public Sector Undertaking under
Ministry of Defence is a premier Aeronautical Industry of South East Asia with 20 Production/
Overhaul/ Service Divisions and 10 co-located R & D Centers spread across the Country. HAL’s
spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and
upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-Engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories,
Avionics & Systems and Structural components for Satellite & Launch Vehicles.
HAL, Hyderabad is currently looking for Ex-Servicemen for engagement on contract basis as
Field Service Representatives for the following Outstation Air Bases :

Maximum age limit for the above post is 35 Years and below (as on 01.11.2014) after deducting
total period of service in Armed forces. Further relaxable upto 3 years. Relaxable as per rules
applicable for SC/ST/OBC
PLACE OF POSTING:
Selected candidate will be posted to HAL Customer bases which are located in states like
Punjab, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir. However, they are liable to be
transferred to any place in India where HAL has Divisions/Offices. No request for change of
posting will be entertained after joining.
TENURE OF ENGAGEMENT
The selected candidates will be engaged on contract basis initially for a period of one year with
effect from the date of joining duty. The contract period may be extended, depending upon the
availability of work & Organizational requirements at the discretion of the Management subject
to assessment with regard to conduct and performance during the one year period. On
completion of two years of contract service subject to being found suitable for absorption, they
will be absorbed in the appointed Scale of pay, based on their performance and requirement of
the Organisation.
The contract engagement will not confer any right to claim either absorption or regularization
on any ground in the Company
EMOLUMENTS :
Ex-Servicemen engaged on contract basis will be paid consolidated emoluments Basic Pay, DA
& HRA( in case company Accommodation is not provided and HRA will be paid based on the
posting of Airbases). Based on the length of post qualification experience in the relevant
Discipline/Trade in the Armed Forces. The consolidated emoluments are provisionally fixed in
2007 scales at Rs.17427/- for Scale-6 or 18369/- for Scale-7 per month.

Besides, they are eligible for Canteen Allowance, Conveyance Allowance/Reimbursement,
Washing Allowance, LTA, PF, Reimbursement of School Fee in respect of dependent children, as
per prevailing rules. After absorption they are eligible for regular Pay as given to respective
scales. Besides, that , they are entitled for DA, HRA, Canteen Allowance, Conveyance
Allowance, Interest Subsidy on Loans etc. as per prevailing rules. The selected candidates
for posts would be entitled for higher/lower scale of Pay depending on the length of
service in the relevant discipline in the Armed Forces.
Note : 1) The level/scale of induction will based on completed years of qualified experience in
the
Relevant trade/ Discipline in the Armed Forces.
2) The consolidated emoluments provisionally fixed in 2007 pay scales.
3) Wages of Workmen are revised recently w.e.f. 01.01.2012. However, in respect of
Exservicemen engaged on contract basis , wage revision is awaited from Corporate
Office.
On revision of the wages of ex-servicemen, consolidated emoluments will be revised
accordingly.
HEALTH
Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the
Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical
report from the Company’s Doctor as per the medical standards of the Company and
satisfactory medical reports from the concerned Authority in respect of PWD candidates.
APPLICATION FEE:
The Application fee is Rs 200/- which is non-refundable is to be sent in the form of crossed
Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank(preferably on State Bank of India) in favour of
“HAL, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad and is to be attached along with the application
format at Annexure-I. Candidates belong to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment
of Application fee. The Demand Draft should have been obtained between the period
04.11.2014 and 22.11.2014. The candidate is required to write his name and post applied for
on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

While attending for Written Test and interview they should submit the Bio-data Form duly filled
in the prescribed format as at Annexure-I along with Demand Draft and xerox copies of Age
Proof Certificate, Qualification Certificates,
Convention Certificate, Trade Certificate
Experience, Training, Caste, Disability (As applicable), Discharge Book and passport size
photographs. No TA will be paid for attending written test. TA will be paid to the candidates who
are shortlisted for Interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
4 Only Indian Nationals who are Ex-servicemen of IAF need to apply. Mere submission of
application will not entail right for claiming appointment.
4 Age and Experience are to be counted as on 01.11.2014.
4 Hal reserve the right to increase/decrease the specification depending upon the response. Mere
submission of application will not entail right for claiming employment.
4 Candidates belonging to OBC category are required to submit the OBC certificate in the
prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-A and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are
required to submit the SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-B.
4 Candidates belonging to PWD category are required to submit the Certificate in the prescribed
format enclosed at Appendix-C.
4 Candidates possessing higher qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the
advertisement/Notification need not apply. Candidature of such persons who possess higher
qualifications than the required qualification indicated in the Advertisement/Notification and who
apply for the post will be rejected.
4 Before applying the candidates should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for
the post.
4 Appearance of the shortlisted candidates in the Written Test is provisional and it does not entitle
them for any claim for the post. They will be treated as debarred ab- initio at any stage of the
recruitment process, in case they do not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria.
4 Applicants serving in Government/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should produce NOC at
the time of Interview.
4 Appointments of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Reports from
the HAL Medical Officer as per the standards prescribed by HAL as well as verification of
Character and Antecedents and caste from the concerned authorities, as per rules of the
Company and Vigilance Clearance (as applicable).
4 If the information furnished by the candidate in any part of the Bio-data is found to be false or
incomplete or is not found to be in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the
advertisement, the candidature /appointment will be considered as revoked/terminated at any
stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, without any reference given to the
candidate.
4 Any sort of canvassing or influencing the officials related to the recruitment/selection process
would result in immediate disqualification of the candidate.
4 Decision of HAL Management regarding selection will be final. Further HAL Management
