Sincerely,
Please consider fund raising for this important piece of equipment.
For more information, please do not hesitate
to contact me.
I know I can improve the care available to my patients with a new Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner.
This device allows me to view injuries in real time, make adjustments to broken bones, pin
them in place, and review the placement all in one sitting. A Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner at St.
Paul’s Hospital will dramatically reduce the need for duplicate trips to the Hospital, saving our
patients time, money and undue distress.
It is important to treat these injuries in a timely and effective manner, as my patients’ hands
are essentially their livelihood. The currently available equipment for treating hand fractures
requires a day long process of navigating different departments within the hospital, a general
anesthetic, and the attendant recovery process that a general anesthetic requires. A Mini
C-Arm X-Ray Scanner device would allow assessment and treatment in one department, under
local anesthetic in a fraction of the time and with lower risk than is currently required.
Saskatchewan has always been a province filled with hard-working and passionate individuals.
We build things from the ground up and create things with our hands and heart. The farming,
mining and construction industries have seen unprecedented expansion in Saskatchewan in the
past few years. To the many people living in Saskatchewan, this has brought about amazing
change. To me and my colleagues in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, this has
translated into a heightened number of work-place related hand injuries.
You can make a difference. Please give to St.
Paul’s Hospital Foundation.
You may choose to direct your gift to the purcha
se of a Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner, or direct
your gift to the
area of most need at St. Paul’s Hospital.
St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation inspires positive
change; this change is made possible by YOU
our committed
donors. Your support allows us to put import
ant medical equipment into the skilled hands
of dedicated
physicians like Dr. Thomson and on this particu
lar occasion, ensure those hands are well looked
after.
Your Donations Help Us – Help You.
Along with improving the care for our patient
s, this machine will be much safer for the surgeo
ns utilizing it. A
Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner will signicantly
minimize Dr. Thomson’s exposure to radiation.
For a patient, the
radiation amount on a one-time basis is minima
l; however, Dr. Thomson performs countless
surgeries on an
annual basis - elevating the risk of developing
illnesses associated with radiation, such as hand
cancer.
Not only will this project improve patient care,
it also gives us the unique opportunity to care
for those who
so diligently care for us – our physicians.
I understand that the work of St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation is to support the care of our
patients. I am writing to ask for your fund raising support in acquiring a piece of equipment
that will greatly improve the experience and health outcomes of the patients I see on a daily
basis.
Please consider this urgent request for a Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner at St. Paul’s Hospital.
Dear St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation,
The Foundation recently received a letter from
Dr. Chris Thomson, a plastic surgeon at St. Paul’
s Hospital
specializing in reconstructive and microsurgery
about the urgent need for a piece of equipm
ent called a Mini
C-Arm X-Ray Scanner.
After speaking with Dr. Thomson, it became
very clear that he is extremely passionate about
his work and
the care he is able to provide to his patients.
Access to a Mini C-Arm X-Ray Scanner will
mean quicker and
less invasive treatment to people suffering debilita
ting hand injuries. Dr. Thomson understands that
obtaining
this new equipment is about more than simply
treating his patients; it’s about getting them back
to work, and
back to normal – a priceless commodity.

Global Robotic X-ray Scanner Market

Global Robotic X-ray Scanner Market Robotic X-ray scanner is a medical imaging device which gives flexibility to the medical practitioner. It has got its name from its characteristic of moving according to commands given to it. This robotic X-ray scanner uses radiographic abilities and is used in fields of emergency care, critical care, orthopedic and surgical and non-surgical processes. The X-ray source and X –ray detector can move simultaneous without moving the patient. Robotic X-ray scanner comes in handy when patient is unconscious and is unable to move or respond.
