This is a reminder that tomorrow in homeroom will be the second collection for the
Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please bring in your cash donations. Also, if you are interested
in delivering a food basket on November 23rd, please contact Mr. Miller through Canvas
or in the Campus Ministry Office.

The Pro-Life Club will meet on Friday morning at 7:30 in Faber Hall. Deposits and
permission slips for the March for Life are due at this meeting.

Attention students looking for Community Service opportunities - help is needed this
Friday for the 13th Annual Richard’s Run for Life, as well as this Saturday for the
4th Annual Tampa Pig Jig. If you are interested please respond through the event listing
on Canvas, or speak to Mr. Miller in in the Campus Ministry office.

Attention seniors: Gigante Productions is now scheduling senior portrait sessions. For
contact information to book your appointment check the Jesuit website, under
QuickLinks, click on “Senior portrait sessions.”

Attention juniors and seniors – on Friday a Merrimack College representative will be on
campus. If you would like to learn more about this school, please sign up in Naviance
and obtain a permission form from the counseling center. Also, Sewanee: The University
of the South, will be visiting next week.

Friday, November 7 is the last day for Mu Alpha Theta members to pay their annual club
dues. Dues for Full Membership is $10; Associate Membership is $5. Pay either Justin
Beach or Mr. Morin in Room 302. If your dues are not paid by the end of school on
Friday, your name will be removed from the club roster.

Tickets are on sale during both lunch periods for the Masque’s fall production of You
Can’t Take it With You. Performances are at 7:30 November 13 through 15, plus a 1:00
matinee on November 15. Tickets are on sale for $5 each during both lunch periods. See
Mr. Miller or a Masque member for details.


during periods 4 and 5 in the cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and there is a 2 ticket limit per
student. See Coach Rupp with any questions.

Peer Ministers should remain in the chapel today after convocation for a brief
announcement.


Jesuit Speech and Debate team had a good showing at the prestigious Blue Key
Tournament in Gainesville, which featured 2000 students from 15 states. Jackson
Moffett placed 6th place in the Impromptu category while the Extemp Duo team of
Michael Lee and Gantt Meredith placed 7th. Alex Fiore broke through the 500 point
mark and joined Jackson Moffett at the Special Distinction level. This is the first time
two Jesuit students have hit this level in 11 years. Congrats to the Speech and Debate
team for a job well done!

The varsity soccer team defeated Sickles 4-0 last night in the opening rounds of the
Wharton Invitational. Jonathan Ruiz led the way scoring 3 goals. Connar Lufkin also
scored a goal off of a beautiful free kick in the first half. Goalkeeper Colin Malafronte
registered 3 saves to secure his first shutout of the season. The Tigers play again
tomorrow at 8pm at Wharton in the 2nd round. Congratulations and good luck Tiger
Soccer!


Attention Agmen Christi: tomorrow’s meeting will be for all sodalities together at 7:30
am in Faber Hall.

There will be a very important Key Club meeting on Wednesday morning in the MPR at
7:30 am. At the meeting we will be discussing details for our Putt-Putt fundraiser. All
Key Club members must attend this meeting.

The Masque’s fall production of You Can’t Take it With You opens next Thursday,
November 13th. This classic comedy centers on the wackiness that results when two
people from wildly different families fall in love. Onstage, the show features:
o Seniors Zach Hoppe, Christian Pena, and Ryan Ricco
o Juniors Kyle Cansler, Austin Hernandez, and Jacob Zelen
o Sophomores Ace Cabalan, Dalton Hoffman, and Lucas Pasquier
o And freshmen John Cullaro, George Morgan, and Alex Pena
o Senior Cole Fisher, junior Daniel Rodriguez, and sophomore Nate Snyder as tech
crew. Also appearing onstage are Academy ladies Julia Baretto, Gracie Hancock,
Isabella Onken, Lexi Nieto, and Olivia Traud.

Performances are at 7:30 November 13 through 15, plus a 1:00 matinee on November 15.

On Friday night the Varsity football team defeated Middleton 39-0. On offense, Malik
Davis rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown while Kevin Newman rushed for two
touchdowns. Senior Gage Holt added a rushing touchdown and a 50-yard punt return for
a touchdown. Behind Zach Quilty's three sacks, the defense limited Middleton to 53 total
yards. With the win, the team clinched the District Championship. Congratulations
varsity football!
