mansions built by the wealthy merchants, which are still in very good condition. The
intricate craftsmanship is beyond parallel. The havelis like the Patwon-ki-Haveli and
alim-Singh-ki-Haveli are remarkable for their exclusive cutwork, yellow and red stone
treatment and the bracket-shaped decoration of peacocks. The rich merchant inspired
by the classic style of the royals, constructed huge mansions (havelis) adjacent to each
other in the nature of medieval culture and profusely decorated walls and ceilings and

CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the
City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the
Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories
built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of
outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent
landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted
with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows.
Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 03: Jaipur - Udaipur ( By road Apprx. 8 Hrs.) via Pushkar
Morning drive to Udaipur- an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan enroute visiting
Pushkar. Pushkar boasts temples, though few are as ancient as you might expect at such
an important pilgrimage site, since many were deserted by Aurangzeb and subsequently
rebuilt. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be one of the few temples in the
world dedicated to this deity. It's marked by red spire, and over the entrance gateway is
the hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as

Dilwara Jain Temple, Nikki Lake, Brahmin Kumari Ashram etc.

among the finest examples includes two temples in which the art of carving marble
reached unsurpassed heights. The older of the temples is the ' Vimal Vasahi ', built in
1031 and dedicated to the first tirthankar, Adinath. In the front of the temple stands the
' House of Elephants ', with figures of elephants marching in procession to the temple
entrance. The later ' Tejpal temple ' is dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd tirthankar, and
was built in 1230 by the brothers Tejpal and Vastupal. The carving is so fine that, in
places, the marble becomes almost transparent.
Nakki Lake: Nakki Lake is virtually in the heart of Mount Abu and is a big attraction with
tourists. The lake takes its name from the legend that it was scooped out by a god, using
only his nails, or nakh. It's a pleasant stroll around the lake - look for the strange rock
formations. On the lake there is a dilapidated concrete boat-shaped snack bar. Night

Morning drive to Kumbhalgarh which is located 64 kms north of Udaipur in the
wilderness, Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the
Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges the fort was built in the 15th century by
Rana Kumbha. Because of its inaccessibility and hostile topography the fort had
remained un-conquered. It also served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife.
The fort also served as refuge to the baby king Udai of Mewar. It is also of sentimental
significance as it is the birthplace of Mewar's legendary King Maharana Partap. The fort
is self-contained and has within its amalgam almost everything to withstand a long

Day 01: Arrival Jaipur - Rathambhore
Arrive Jaipur meet and assist at the airport/ Railway station and transfer to
Rathambhore hotel. Day is free for leisure activities. Night stay in Rathambhore.
Day 02: Ranthambhore
Early morning 3 hrs Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open on the top) enjoy
the game viewing in the national park and back to the hotel. After lunch second visit to
jungle and enjoy the game viewing again. Night stay in Ranthambhore.
Day 03: Ranthambhore - Chittaurgarh
Morning After breakfast drive to Chittaurgarh. The road towards Chittaurgarh is a
complete stretch of unexplored and untouched countryside, which promises many
surprises like rural bazaars and fairs on the way. On the route is Bijoliyan, which once
had 100 temples of which three ancient temples are still surviving. 16 kilometers
shorter is Menal having Shiva temples dating back to the Gupta period. An impressive
waterfall flows near the temples during the monsoons. Arrive and check in your hotel,
later proceed for sightseeing of Chittaurgarh Fort - Believed to have been constructed
by the Mori rulers in the 7th century, this fort is located on a 180m high hill, covering
700 acres. "Tablets" and "Chattris" lie between several monumental gates. Visit Padmini
Palace - The palace of the legendary queen of Mewar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Chittorgarh - Jaipur
Today morning after breakfast transfer to jaipur. Day is free for leisure activities.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast go for a excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the
fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its
construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai
Singh I
CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the
City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the
Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories
built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of
outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent
landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted
with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows.
Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.
Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur Drop
Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Bikaner. Day is free for leisure activities.

Day 04: Bikaner
After breakfast visit Junagarh Fort, Havelis of Bikaner and later in the afternoon proceed
to the Deshnok Temple (Rat Temple), also visit Asia's biggest camel breeding farm and
then return back to the hotel. Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 05: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed to Jaisalmer to see the sand dunes and the magnificent forts
with its rich culture, en-route enjoy the countryside and villages. On arrival check-in to
the hotel and later in the evening enjoy the cultural dance. Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 06: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast visit the fort with its carved havelis of Nathumal Ji ki Haveli, Patwon ki
Haveli and later in the afternoon start you camel safari up to the sunset point. Night stay
in Jaisalmer.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Barmer - Jalore
After breakfast proceed to the most beautiful part of Rajasthan - here you can see the
world famous woodcarving, embroidery, block printings and other handicrafts. Also
visit the mud-walled houses decorated with the characteristic geometrical designs of
each different village. After visiting Barmer proceed to the Jalore for overnight stay.
Day 08: Jalore - Jodhpur
After breakfast drive for Jodhpur situated at the edge of the Thar Desert. En-route visit
the Ocean Village (famous for Jain Temples). On arrival visit Mandore Garden and then
check-in to hotel. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 09: Jodhpur
After breakfast visit the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and later in the
evening visit Besnoi Village. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 10: Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast proceed to Udaipur - the city of lakes in Rajasthan. En-route visit Ranak
Pur, famous for Jain Temples and Sun Temple. On arrival check-in to hotel. and Night
stay in Udaipur.
Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
Morning city sight seeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai
Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by
Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari
(Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the
Pratap Memorial. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 12: Udaipur Departure
Morning After breakfast drive to Udaipur and transfer to airport for your onward
journey.
