BOISE FRY CO. CELEBRATES EXPANSION TO PORTLAND WITH FREE FRIES AT GRAND OPENING PARTY ON NOVEMBER 9 First location outside of Idaho for the restaurant that makes fries king of the plate FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Boise Fry Co., dedicated to bringing quality fries center stage, is celebrating the opening of a new restaurant in Southwest Portland on Sunday, November 9 from 4pm 9pm. The restaurant that serves fries with burgers on the side offers customers the option of seven different types of potatoes, five varieties of cuts and a long list of signature sauces and seasonings. Boise Fry Co. has received many best burger and best fry accolades, including Best Fries in the US from the Food Network, Yahoo!, and Travel and Leisure. Grand opening festivities include free fries for all customers and live music by The Resolectrics. Additional food and drinks from the menu will be available for regular purchase. After a quiet opening in August, Boise Fry Co. is ready to put on a party hat to celebrate its first restaurant outside of Idaho. “We believe in supporting local growers and suppliers no matter where we are, which happens to be very easy in Portland given the amazing farmers and ranchers in the area”, said Charlie Denton, Proprietor. There are currently four locations in the Potato State: three in Boise and one in Meridian. The dedication to locally-sourced and often organic ingredients makes Boise Fry Co. a natural fit to Portland. Most of the fries are made from potatoes from Amstad Produce and Baggenstos Farms in Sherwood. Bison comes from Brown's Buffalo Ranch in Nyssa, Oregon. Grass Fed Beef comes from farms all over the Northwest. Bread comes from Upper Crust Bread in Portland and the vegan bun comes from Grand Central Bakery in Portland. Brussels sprouts come from Sauvie Island, onions from Hermiston, OR, peppers from Prosser, WA and herbs from Yakima, WA. Local beer on tap and by the bottle, including Alameda, Anthem, Barley Brown's and Good Life. In addition to supporting local, regional and organic farmers, Boise Fry Co. also hand forms and seasons their patties, hand cuts their fries and uses environmentally-friendly and compostable products.
