Module Basic
INTRODUCTION
EUROSPINE the Spine Society of Europe, with the support of the EuroSpine Foundation, provide education on spinal
matters. The focus is on spinal issues relevant to the European health care community. The five modules of the basic
diploma are a foundation for more advanced learning. Module Basic contains the fundamentals that inform the
other modules. It is mix of knowledge, skills, and the ethics and attitudes that are considered by Eurospine to be
essential. Topics and details of specific knowledge are developed further in the subsequent four modules. Evidence
based approaches inform clinical best practice. Patient safety, as an example, is a common theme across all health
care delivery.
The two main objectives of EUROSPINE are:
-
