THE THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 16, 2014
NOVENA FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
Feast Day November 21
Gracious and lovable art thou in thy splendor, O holy Mother of God!
Show me thy countenance. Let thy words sound in my ears, for thy voice is sweet and thy countenance is beautiful.
Turn to us in thy beauty and loveliness!
Come forth in majesty and reign!
Hail Mary…
O Blessed Mother of God, Mary ever Virgin, Temple of the Lord, sanctuary of the Holy Ghost,
thou alone, without an equal, hast pleased our Lord Jesus Christ!
Hail Mary…
Blessed indeed art thou, O holy Virgin Mary, and most worthy of all praise, for from thee arose the Sun of Justice, Christ our Lord.
Draw us, O Immaculate Virgin; we shall come after thee, breathing the sweet fragrance of thy virtues!
Hail Mary
(Here state your petitions.)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother!
To thee to do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Is Jesus asking you, “Won’t you watch one hour with
me?” The three people who had previously volunteered to
spend the 5:00 to 6:00 pm hour with Jesus every First
Friday of the month have all moved away. Won’t YOU
please consider giving Him this one hour out of the 720
hours each month? To volunteer, please call Nick or Mary
Murphy at 524-2831 or leave your name and phone
number with the Parish Office. Remember: Jesus can never be outdone
in generosity.
Faith Formation for all students will be extended
45 minutes to include the practice time needed for
the Children’s Christmas Choir and Christmas
Pageant music. This will continue through the
month of December.

Diocesan Requirements for Reporting Ministry-Related Sexual Abuse
of a Minor: Any individual having actual knowledge of or reasonable
cause to suspect an incident of ministry-related sexual abuse is to
immediately report the incident to the Chancery.
After the incident is reported, the Chancery will then report the
incident to the proper civil authorities. The individual reporting the
incident to the Chancery will be notified of the particulars regarding the
Chancery’s filing of the incident with the civil authorities.
The reporting is not intended to supersede the right of an individual
to make a report to civil authorities, but is to ensure proper, complete
and timely reporting. Should an individual choose to make a report to
civil authority, a report is still to be made to the Chancery.
