Honor attendant was Amanda Montgomery, sister of the bride. Attendants were Laura Montgomery, sister of the bride, and Danielle Cooper and Sabina Hoffman, both friends of the bride. Best man was Tyler Kruse, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Chase Polifka, Nathan Braun and Joseph Reid, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Luke Montgomery, brother of the bride, and Wesley Visocsky, cousin of the groom. Candlelighters were Morgan Werth and Kacey Bryant, both cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Magdalyn Ross and Isabella Ross, both cousins of the groom. Ringbearer was William Visocsky, cousin of the groom. The bride is a 2009 graduate of Hays High School and a 2014 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture (agronomy). She is a soil conservationist for the USDA-NRCS. The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Oskaloosa High School. He is a corrections officer at Tecumseh Nebraska State Prison. The newlyweds are at home in rural Marysville. and Jerry Braun, all of Hays, Joseph Braun, Wamego, Joan Rourke and husband, Kevin, Russell, and John Braun and wife, Connie, Victoria. The couple have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. John and Josie (Riedel) Braun were married Nov. 20, 1954, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Walker. Seirer-Keller Karen Seirer and Luke Keller were married May 31, 2014, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russell, with Father Michael Elan officiating. Parents of the couple are Kent and Cheryl Seirer, Russell, and Mark and Gwen Keller, St. Francis. Grandparents of the couple are Nora Hammerschmidt, Plainville, the late Ernie Hammerschmidt, the late Galeland and Edna Seirer, Tobies and Ann Dirks and John and Karen Keller, all of St. Francis. The bride is a 2005 graduate of Russell High School and 2009 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in medical diagnostic imaging. The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of St. Francis Community High School and is attending FHSU. Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the newlyweds are at home in Salina. Taylor-Theleman Mr. Larry and Dr. Cathy Taylor, Chanute, and Mr. Gene and Mrs. Luanne Theleman, Natoma, announce the engagement of Melissa Noel Taylor to Clayton Lewis Theleman. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Chanute High School. She graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s of science in human nutrition (2010) and a master’s of public health (2012). In 2013, she completed an accelerated BSN degree at MidAmerica Nazarene University. She is a pediatric intensive care unit nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Natoma High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in biology in 2010. In May, she graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and is completing his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. An April 25, 2015, wedding is planned in Manhattan. Stork Club Andrew Joel Pyle, son of Christopher and Melissa Pyle, was born Sept. 19, 2014, at Hays Medical Center. He was 7 pounds, 8 ounces. He was 20.5 inches long. He has a Pyle sister, Abigail Pyle, 4. Grandparents are Marvin and Jane Whitney, Kensington, and Patricia Spencer, Forney, Texas.
