PANEL
Voice Operator Panel makes it easy for businesses to deploy a softwarebased receptionist portal, saving the cost of additional hardware and
providing a high level of functionality and usability. It provides switchboard
and attendant console functions such that a receptionist can monitor an
entire business or group of employees, seeing who is available, on a
call, or away.
OPERATING SYSTEM
Operators can use the Voice Operator Panel as a standalone soft
phone or tethered to a hard phone to handle calls. The operator can
pick-up incoming calls, put them on hold, and initiate either unattended
or attended transfers. Operators initiate transfers through the graphical
user interface using drag-and-drop interactions or keyboard shortcuts.
USER PRESENCE & MESSAGING
Voice Operator Panel supports multiple user directories, which can be
loaded from the Metaswitch business group, an XML file, LDAP file, or
Outlook contacts. The directory supports multiple fields and numbers, as
well as a user image.
