Our Mission:
WINTER
"The vision of Courage League is that Every Child
Deserves to Play and the staff at CLS are visionary
enough to see that there is a child in everyone, no
matter the age, and adults with physical and mental
disabilities are included.
- Courage League Member
-------------------------------------------
Dear Family & Friends,
With an estimated 18,000 adults with special needs
living in the Central Iowa area, there is limited access
& minimal accommodations available for adults that
are passionate about participating in sports. Courage
League Sports is dedicated to decreasing the gap
between children and adults with special needs and
sports inclusion in the Central Iowa region.
That said, we are very excited for our upcoming
WINTER programming in Urbandale. All of our
programming is designed to promote physical,
mental, and social stimulation through sports
leagues, group classes, and/or open gym nights.
Our community of adults with special needs is
important to us, that is why we want to provide a
rich and stimulating environment with assitive
support and adaptations available as needed! We
hope that you will join in on the fun!

Our Mission:
Courage League Sports is a recreational adaptive
sports facility specifically designed for children
and adults not able to go "full speed" due to
disability, illness, or emotional challenges. Our
programs provide an opportunity to play in sports
leagues, partipate in group classes or play around
during open gym nights at everyone's own skill
level. We strive to ensure a positive recreational
experience for all children, adutls and their
families as well as encourage participants to have
fun while exercising outside of a therapy
atmosphere.
