I encourage all of you to include charity in your daily
lives. Precious Blood is able to reach out to countless
people and families throughout the year due to several
key projects: the Scrip Program, Koatz4Kidz, St. Nick
Outreach, and St. Nick Bazaar. Please support these
projects and keep their ministry in your prayers. Together we make a difference as we work side by side to

Christianity, the Catholic Church, Spirituality, and Scripture. Once
questions have been answered, if time permits, we have a topic we
discuss. The current topic is Misconceptions about the Catholic

November 16, 2014
The Holiday season is fast approaching,
and what better way to get into the spirit
than to take a name off of the Precious
Blood Giving Tree and help make Christmas
morning a little brighter for several local
children. We'll have the Giving Tree up early
again this year, so that everyone can take
advantage of the many wonderful Black Friday deals (and
don't forget to purchase some ‘SCRIP’ cards to help you
with those deals). We plan to have the tree and names up
on the weekend of Nov. 22/23. We do ask that after you
choose your child’s name from the tree that you sign the
book that will be by the tree. The gifts will need to be
brought to the Gathering Area by Sun., Dec. 21, before the
10:30 Mass. Thanks again for all the generosity that is
always displayed at this time of the year. If you have any
questions regarding the Giving Tree, or if you'd like to
have more than one name, would like to possibly buy
for siblings, please contact Katie Bower at 631-1282 and I'll
try to help you out. Thank You!!
THANKSGIVING DAY FEAST
St. Joseph’s Parish Center
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
You are invited to share Thanksgiving Day with family & friends
and enjoy a great meal. Reservations are requested but not necessary. Donations, while appreciated, are not required. Dine in and
carry out meals are available. Delivery service to your door in
limited situations. To reserve your meals or volunteer, please call
the Saint Joseph Parish office at 812-482-1805.
Last year, we received almost 900 new and used coats,
and also had enough money donated to purchase 200
new coats. Please consider a monetary donation as
well. If you do make a cash donation, make your check
payable to Precious Blood Church and memo
Koatz4Kidz. We will use this money to purchase new
coats in the sizes that we tend to have in high demand.
Coat distribution day will be Sat., Dec. 13 from
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the gym. Please consider
volunteering to help on that day, and also on set-up
day, Fri., Dec. 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the gym. Please
contact Andy Welsh at 309-0628 or email him
at [email protected], if you are interested in
helping.
Your donations of both new and used coats and any
financial donations will go a long way to help those
in need. God Bless.
For all four Jasper area parishes.
