Stewardship Message
Weekday Masses and Intentions
“Well done, good and faithful
servant; you have been faithful over a
little, I will set you over much…”Matthew 25:21
Day
God expects us to nurture and
develop the gifts He has given
us and then generously give
back with increase. He doesn’t
want us to waste or hoard the
gifts He has given us; He
expects us to grow our gifts, use
them wisely and be generous
with them.

Adoration Chapel
A soul can do nothing that is more pleasing to God than to
communicate in a state of grace. -- St. Alphonsus Liguori
There are several chapel hours waiting for the faithful to sign, call
Josie 604-266-2431.
Did You Know?.... You may see the
symbol below on
liturgical vestments or texts. It is referred to as the ‘labarum’ or
‘chi-ro’ symbol. It is derived from a joining of the Greek letters X
(chi) and P (rho) which are the first two letters of the word,
“Christ”. According to tradition, Constantine the Great
experienced a vision in 312 A.D. inspiring him to paint this
symbol on the shields of his soldiers before fighting his rival for
power. He won the subsequent battle and became the first Roman
emperor to allow Christianity to be practiced freely (The Story of
Christianity, David Bentley Hart (Quercus Publishing), 2007).
PLEASE NOTE: PREP Advent Wreath
Making will be on Tuesday, November 25th, at
6:15pm, in the Church Lower Hall. Boughs
appreciated. Thank you.

any mugs that you could donate to our guests, please
contact us at the men’s hostel at 604-443-3292 or
