10th Annual Kiwanis Christmas Parade
“Let’s Go Caroling!”

2014 Farmington Christmas Parade Rules
1. All entries must be at their line-up position no later than
6:15 pm. We will contact your group by phone or email by
Sunday, November 30, 2014 as to your line-up number. All
entries are to report to their line-up position at Folsom
Elementary.
2. All entries must be decorated in a Christmas theme; any
entry not decorated will be removed from the parade. This
year’s theme is “Let’s Go Caroling!”
3. All entries must have their group or organization name
visible for proper judging recognition. Adding the entry
number will help judges.
4. All entries will be allowed to stop in front of the judges’
stand only. You are to make your performance no longer
than 60 seconds. You will be timed and disqualified if you
exceed this time limit. There will be no exceptions.
5. Entries are not allowed to have or display a real life
Santa Claus on their float or vehicle. Any entry doing so
will be removed from the parade.
6. Candy will be allowed to be thrown from your float or
vehicle. You may also have someone walking next to your
entry handing out candy. No hot rodding, or wheelies will
be allowed during the parade. This rule is in place to
protect spectators. If you are caught violating this rule
you will be disqualified from judging and will be removed
from the parade.
7. Entry forms must be postmarked no later than November 21,
2014.
