Introduce Our Kids to the Idea of True Love You are invited to attend a presentation by James Borkowski the Executive Director
from Signal Hill. How do we as parents and educators break through and introduce our kids to the idea of true love? At this workshop
we will explore strategies and ideas for taking back the job of helping our children know what it means to be a man or a woman and
what it means to love and be loved. The presentation will be held on Monday, November 24th at 7:00pm at St. Ann’s Academy Gym.

Advent Recollection at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Shrine in Cache Creek Join Bishop Monroe for an Advent recollection Friday

Basics Of The Pro Life On Tuesday December 9th at 7:00 pm, the Kelowna Right to Life Society is presenting a free workshop on the
basics of the pro life position. Admission to Pro Life 101 is free, refreshments are provided and open discussion on this important
social issue is encouraged! The 1.5 hour long workshop will equip you to better understand and defend the pro life position. It is being

Deacon Glenn Harmon from California will be preaching a Parish Mission at St. John Vianney Parish from April 27 to April 30, 2015. It
is open to all people from the city parishes and beyond. There will be more information to come well before the Mission.

Out Of The Cold Shelter Program at St. Paul's Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street, will continue every Wednesday through to March 2015.
Volunteers are needed for all four shifts between 6:00 pm Wednesday to 7:00 am Thursday. To volunteer, please contact Christine at

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul It is that time of year when the Society of St. Vincent de Paul would appreciate your donations of
winter clothes, coats and boots. You can drop off your donation in the bin in the foyer or at 168 Briar Ave.

The Carmelite Sisters in Armstrong have about 5 bags of alpaca and llama raw wool. The Sisters do not have enough to send
away to be processed - so would like to sell what they have. It is excellent quality and at first they were asking $50.00 a bag, - these
are huge bags – like the big clear plastic ones you get for bagging fall leaves – but now they will take whatever donation they can get.

Kamloops Catholic Connection - Young Adults
Kamloops Catholic Connection is a city-wide formation and fellowship group for university students and young working persons that
meets monthly at Sacred Heart Cathedral. For information about upcoming events or to join a faith study, find us on Facebook or email

November 30 Eucharistic adoration will be held before the 6pm mass at Sacred Heart. A meal will be provided after mass.

gingerbread house competition, starting at 4pm; as well, we'll be serving dinner after mass.

Principal – Full Time Position at St. Ann’s Catholic School in Quesnel, B.C.
Qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position this is a 1.0 FTE position, mainly administration with some
teaching time. The school enrolls approximately 100 students from kindergarten to grade seven. Applicants must hold a
valid teaching certificate or be eligible for B.C. certification. Preference will be given to candidates who possess
administrative experience, preferably in a catholic independent school in B.C. or a master’s degree in school
administration or applicable area of study.
Teacher - Full Time Term Position with St. Ann’s Catholic School in Quesnel, B.C.
For the 2014-2015 school year, we are seeking qualified teacher candidates for a term full time teaching position (1.0
FTE) to commence on December 1, 2014. Serving as the school’s learning resource coordinator is the majority of this
position (approximately 0.6 FTE). The remaining portion of this position (approximately 0.4 FTE) will be providing prep
time for classroom teachers. The successful candidate will work closely with the school principal, providing support for
classroom teachers, educational assistants, students and parents.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience teaching elementary students, experience teaching
students with special needs, and experience supervising educational assistants. Candidates must possess, or be eligible

The Pregnancy Care Centre’s “Empowering Moms” Mentorship program is working with young moms every Wednesday night
beginning by sharing a nutritious “family meal” followed by a life skills workshop. Our goal with this program is to help young moms
become “Independent functioning members of society and the best mom their child deserves”. We are looking for individuals who
would be willing to provide a nutritious meal. With many volunteer meal providers we are asking that you only provide one meal per
