It is really easy to ask folks to support you and a cause you support if you are one of the their loyal customers. Simply let them know how important it is to you, your dancer and the community who comes and experiences live music. ! Whether you just ask one place, or go all out and really get things rounded up for the silent auction, we are here to support you. ! Along with this letter you will find: ! • a letter asking for their support from the Triangle Youth Ballet. ! • a donation item slip that you fill out and turn in. This helps us describe the item clearly on the literature, price it appropriately and send our thanks along with a tax letter. ! • a charitable contribution tax letter, should they want one before you leave with the donation. If they would like to receive a free ticket to the event, which you can offer them, let them know that a tax letter will be coming to them. Don’t leave them one that says “no goods or services were received …..” ! And that’s it in a Nutty Shell. If they want the item picked up at a later time, there is a spot on the donation item form telling us to do so. If they are interested in an ad in the playbill, there is a place on the form to let us know that as well. ! !
