PGCE Primary Leaflet - Liverpool Hope University
Liverpool Hope is a unique University by virtue of its rich and distinctive nineteenth century foundations. Our long and proud history of preparing teachers dates from 1844 when we began to educate teachers in the Christian tradition for the rapidly growing communities of Liverpool and the wider North West area. Many of our graduate teachers hold distinguished careers around the country and, indeed, elsewhere in the world. Course Codes: Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2 – X100 221014 Our mission is to provide a wellrounded education of the whole person which is why we consider our programmes to be Initial Teacher Education and not merely training. The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Liverpool Hope University will provide you with a career entry and development profile that will stand you in good stead to develop professionally through your first year of teaching, as a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), and beyond.
