TODAY – we shall be celebrating with a Bradford Group Eucharist with the Dean of Salisbury at Christ Church at 10.30am followed by lunch at Christ Church School - and with a BACT Advent Carol Service with a WWI theme at Holy Trinity at 6pm. PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS - ‘Who is this Child’ - four talks, with sharing and prayer, to be held on Wednesday mornings, 26 November to 17 December inclusive, at 10.45am at Holy Trinity. The birth stories, Jesus the teacher, the man of sorrows, and the living Lord, will be covered with the gospel of Matthew as core text. Please contact Karl Wiggins on 01225 867007. Do come along if you can, hear about the latest plans from the architect and project manager, and ask any questions. CLIFTON SINGERS CONCERT – ‘Land of Lost Content’. COORDINATOR WANTED FOR COMMUNITY HUB PROJECT - The Hub@BA15 is a centre established to find pathways for people who may be vulnerable in the BoA Community Area. We wish to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Coordinator on a voluntary basis to be responsible for the day to day to assist in the transition to opening of the Hub. An honorarium will be offered to the successful applicant. Applicants are asked to submit a synopsis detailing their experience to date and why they are interested in the post. Closing date: Tues, 9 December. running of the Hub. PARISH NEWS – Bumper issue (December-January) now ready to collect and enjoy! Thank you to all the contributors and Parish News Team for such an informative publication. Duties will include: * being the primary contact for the Hub * some coordination of volunteers and centre activities * day to day administration and minor accounting (Treasurer Trustee available to support) * advocacy for the centre’s users (mainly signposting) * liaison with the centre’s users * promoting the Hub’s facilities Training and support will be provided. The centre is expected to be open in January 2015 and it is hoped the successful applicant would be available before then ANNUAL NATIVITY - Our annual Nativity will take place at the 9.30 a.m. service on Sunday 21 December.
