POOL TO POOL - 14th December
Pool to Pool will run during nippers this
Sunday.
• It is a 9am start.
• This is an ‘Attendance’ day
• There is a voluntary gold coin donation
for each nipper ( this will enter you into
the competition at the end of Pool to Pool
to win lucky door prizes and raffles.)
• Squad leaders will take their squads
(after they have been marked on) to as
many pools as are appropriate for their
age group.
• All parent are welcome and encouraged to
come along too.
• Please ensure all nippers are wearing
their age caps AND have suitable footwear
(no bare feet)
• Water safety is provided at each pool.
• Dress up is optional - but encouraged :)

Development Camp - DEER PARK
The U/13 girl and boys attended this camp the
weekend before last and had a great time!
Here is a short report of how much fun it was
from RENEE one of our U/13 Nippers
Last weekend I went on the under 13 development
camp to Deer park with Daisy and Taylor. We were
split into groups with other clubs and we did activities
like rock climbing, canoeing and making a raft. We
also went on the waterslide there which was fun too.
The Westpac rescue chopper came on Saturday and
we were able to look inside it and the men in the
rescue team gave us a talk about what they did. On
Sunday we went in the IRB and they flicked us off
the boat into the water. It was a lot of fun and we
cracked up laughing!. We also did rescues in teams,
where one person was drowning and one person had to
be the rescuer and then give CPR. It was good
practice. It was good to spend time with my nippers
friends and get to know them better. Thanks Dave for
