TRYOUT GUIDELINE Early Tryouts late July for Elite, National, Select and National Lite teams *All locations * We will potentially FILL these teams at these tryouts Fall Tryouts 1 date in September, October and November (if needed) *Rochester & Novi locations (A2 players should attend Novi)" - for openings on Elite, National, Select and National Lite teams - for State, Local and Winter teams Tryouts are a complicated process and we want you to be aware of the stages of the tryout process. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! TRYOUT STAGES Pre-Registration - Athletes Pre-Register on our website to allow us to provide adequate staffing for tryouts and to make registration faster on site - Athletes that pre-register save $20 off the tryout fee On Site Registration - Athletes that did not Pre-Register must fill out paperwork and pay tryout fee on-site. Everyone should arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in and receive tryout t-shirt and tryout number. Evaluation - Athletes will be guided through the tryout and evaluated thoroughly by Legacy coaches. We always have adequate staff to run the drills as well as coaches responsible for evaluating. Team Forming - Coaches and Club Directors meet after tryouts to select teams Communication - Emails will be sent out to athletes with their placement within 1 week after ALL Early tryouts are completed - Athletes have 48 hours to respond to the offer with an Acceptance or Denial. - We have all tentative details available before our tryout to allow for decision making !process to be efficient. ! ! ! ! National Lite Teams dominated the Lake Erie Power League (this is a great indicator of how Southeast Michigan club level teams compare against one another) 12-Club - 2nd place out of 11 teams 13-Club - Legacy had 5 of the top 6 teams in a 21 team division, including the 1st place team 14-Club - Legacy had 3 of the top 4 teams in a 23 team division, including the 1st place team 15-Club - Legacy finished 1st and 3rd in a 23 team division 16-Club - Legacy had 3 of the top 4 teams in a 23 team division 17/18-Club - Legacy finished 2nd! Legacy 14-Greg won the 14 Classic State Championship Legacy 13-Annie were Runner Ups 13 Classic State Championship Legacy 16-Kirk finished 9th out of 60 teams at Mid-East Qualifier Legacy 13-Julie won the Gold Division at the IVA Hoosier Tournament Legacy 16-Terry won the Gold Division at the IVA Hoosier Tournament
