You are not bound by
calendars, day timers,
PDA's and watches,
teach us to not be bound
by them either.
God of the stars, the
heavens, the planets and
their orbits,
you sent a star to guide
the Magi on their journey
to the Christ Child,
Send your star to guide us
on journeys of faith.
God of Creation, your
word spoke creation into
being, you sent your son as
the light into a world of
darkness,
God may your word still
speak to us today,
May your son still be the
light in our worlds of
darkness.
And just as the Magi
brought gifts to the Christ
Child may we bring gifts to
the Christ Child again.
Amen

STARS GALA AUCTION ‐ 8 DAYS REMAIN TO DONATE ITEMS
SPONSORSHIPS
Our Moment in Time: To reflect on the past, embrace the present
and believe in the future
The auction team is
truly grateful to all of
our EC families and
businesses that have so
generously donated to
the STARS Gala Auction. We've enjoyed getting to know new team
members and EC parents during our planning process ‐‐ one of the
best auction benefits! It's hard to believe that only eight days
remain to donate items and auction sponsorships; January 15 is the
due date. Visit the auction website for more information including a
wish list and links. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated as
they often qualify for corporate matching funds and will be applied
for maximum return. We are seeking families who would like to
underwrite/complete a few exciting Live Auction items. Please
contact Sharon Soldenwagner if you are interested in contributing in
this way.
Please save the STARS Gala Auction date of March 14 ‐‐ our 30th
auction ‐‐ and tell your friends and family. This is a community
building and fundraising event not to be missed!

families with members who have compromised immune systems and

families understand the score results of the PSAT, Ms. Metz will talk
about the SAT and ACT, the differences between the two exams and
test strategies. Although our students typically do not plan to take
